Some people just live in hives of vulgarity & crudeness.
Well, yeah, to the point that I have flinched after saying something stupid in public that I knew my parents would have twisted my ear for.
And there was no "abuse" involved.
They knew how to get my attention without raising their voices or actually hurting me.
Your parents were probably much the same or you wouldn't be on a conservative forum, right?
I truly think we were taught to a different standard which formed our future political persuasions.
