Facebook will release Russia-linked ads to Congress, Mark Zuckerberg saysGood. Let's keep reminding people that these Russian "fake news" ads on Facebook were the ones hammering Hillary about her deleted emails and her Clinton Foundation slush fund shenanigans.

Just as an aside: I wonder what the Russian counterparts to the ads for Russian brides are like? Do they advertise rich, fat and lonely American men seeking women?

Hillary spent 1.3 billion on her campaign, but somehow 100,000 in Facebook ads was enough to turn the election? I think Hillary didn’t spend her money wisely.

This whole thing sounds bogus to me. First of all $100 K on Facebook is a phone call to an account manager. Secondly negative stuff on Trump has been leaking like a sieve, and if these ads WERE PUBLIC ADS, why haven’t we seen them?
More than likely there were more anti-Trump ads than anti-Hillary ads.
To: Kaslin
These ads could be scam ads, preying on anyone who clicks one.
I don’t trust Russian or Chinese websites. They are crawling with scammers.
The whole gist of the supposed Trump/Russia collusion was that they colluded to get the truth out about Hillary and the Democrats. Clearly, the Democrats want to hide who they are and want us to vote for, basically, a pig in a poke.
Logically, the collusion story makes no sense. Russia already knew it could get whatever it wanted from Hillary if it paid her sufficiently. She even compromised national security for a pay out from Russia. Why on earth would Russia then turn against her campaign? [Actually, the Trump/Russia collusion claim was just another Democrat misdirection attempt—since they always accuse their opponents of doing what the Dems are actually doing.]

There was no collusion with Russia because there was nothing to collude about. There was no hack of the DNC. Technical experts have proven the information had to come from the inside. A leak, not a hack.
From an article quoting the VIPS Experts:
“Investigators found that 1,976 megabytes of data were downloaded locally on July 5, 2016. The information was downloaded with a memory key or some other portable storage device. The download operation took 87 seconds meaning the speed of transfer was 22.7 megabytes per second a speed that far exceeds an internet capability for a remote hack, as Lawrence puts it. Whats more, they say, a transoceanic transfer would have been even slower (Guccifer claimed to be working from Romania).
Based on the data we now have, what weve been calling a hack is impossible, Folden told The Nation.

I don't click on ads. As a matter of fact. I hate ads. My husband brings ads in all the time that the mailman puts in the mail box. I don't even look at them and put them where they belong.
The other day I told him: No one is telling me what to buy.
