The biennial Colorado Health Access Survey, administered by the Colorado Health Institute (CHI) and funded by the Colorado Trust, found that the percentage of Coloradans who have insurance has gone up slightly over the past two years but that the way they get their insurance continues to evolve.

While a greater portion of the state’s 5.04 million insured residents receive their insurance through Medicare and through plans they purchase individually, those Coloradans who receive employer-sponsored insurance fell from 50.9 percent in 2015 to 49.4 percent in 2017, the survey of 10,029 found...

Also, does this imply that there are fewer full time employees?

Under O-care, aren't employers required to provide insurance to full time employees.

Maybe this is just an example of employers only hiring part time employees to get around the law.

“One of the primary goals of ObamaCare is destroy the system of employer supplied health care”.
Another result of Obamacare is the new medical industry that has popped up across the border of Mexico. They are offering any and all procedures on the cheap.
Good luck with that!!

Predicted by many. Instantly shown to be true. The trend continues. Business will hire more part time employees, not have to provide benefits, because they cannot afford more government regulations and stay in business. Quite sad.

I would guess that only one or perhaps two of the businesses in garrison Colorado have employee insurance. One of those is a school. Oh yes, I forgot the Holiday Inn.

I would think Rooster lost his insurance when he got fired.

Bad news. People are going to either get healthcare from the government, or their employers.

This makes it harder politically to repeal Obamacare.

I’m OK with people of a given state deciding to provide medical coverage through their legislators. But its unconstitutional for the US gov to do so. I like the block grant repeal, give people their rights back and weans the system off redistribution while they decide.

Good. Even more should pay for their health insurance directly out of their own pockets.

Everyone should have to pay their own quarterly taxes directly out of their own pockets as well.
