My identity is complex. I am not American. I am not Mexican...I am stuck in the middle somewhere.
... I remember asking my teachers in elementary school if they could help me get a Social Security number.
...As I grew older, there were things that my parents cautioned me against porque no eres Americana because youre not American...Be wary of who you trust, porque no eres Americana. You never know who could turn you in. Be wary on the road, porque no eres Americana. A routine traffic stop could change your life completely. Be wary of your surroundings, porque no eres Americana. A raid could happen anywhere. Be careful of how you spend your money, porque no eres Americana. You might need that money to help bring you back. Be wary of the company you keep, porque no eres Americana. Your American friends can do as they please, but you cant.
No eres Americana. Every decision in my life has been clouded by this thought.

Is anybody going to forgive you so much as a traffic citation? I don't think so.
So why must I accept your wrong ideas?
Must? I won't comply.
How did this illegal alien get a teaching license?
Was there no background check?
Heretofore, only the rich had the ability to send their children to another country for an education. Now that privilege is extended to illegal Mexicans.
My take is that the “dreamers” should be thankful that they had the opportunity for an education at American taxpayers expense, and had the opportunity to deprive an American of a job.
Send them back to Mexico. If they are as talented has promoted, it will hardly cause a ripple in their circumstances.
Another liberal double standard - all whites are bad because 100+ years ago some whites had slaves, but in the case of DACA, they pull the sins-of-their-fathers routine.
Evidently, no matter how much they laud Third World cultures, they believe “Mexico” is Spanish for “Auschwitz”.
Also note that whenever they show photos of DACA illegals, it’s almost always “youth” and not the up-to-31-years-old types.
