White House Will Release ‘Priorities and Principles’ of DACA Immigration Deal in 7-10 Days

WASHINGTON, D.C. — White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders told reporters Friday that the Trump Administration will be laying out details of a possible deal with Democrat and Republican congressional leaders to pass legislation on DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) and border security measures. One reporter referenced President Donald Trump’s tweet that no chain migration could be a part of an immigration bill, then asked Sanders, “What did he mean by that?”

“The President is focused on making sure that in the efforts of these ongoing conversations between both Democrats and Republicans, that we deliver on responsible immigration reform. He wants to help American workers and families,” replied Sanders.

Chain migration refers to those who hold legal status in the U.S. and use that status to bring members of their family to the United States. The question has been raised in relation to the possibility that DACA recipients, if given legal status in the, could in turn use that to get status for members of their extended families.

“No deal has been final reached on this process,” Sanders continued. “He supports making an agreement on DACA, but that would have to include massive border security and interior enforcements.”

Media reports have been rife with comments from Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi after they took part in a dinner meeting with President Trump on Wednesday evening. The two followed up with a joint statement indicating that they made a deal with the President to quickly legalize DACA and would not include the building of the southern border wall Trump promised during his 2016 campaign. Trump refuted the claims of Schumer and Pelosi at he traveled to Florida on Thursday morning, stating that no deal had been reached.

“He’s still 100% committed to the wall..."

I wouldn't mind these folks being considered for permanent residency, but in exchange, I'd require additional punishment for violating immigration laws. In addition to what is required under normal immigration requirements, those admitted under this program must be forever forbidden from acquiring citizenship, the right to vote, AND the privileges of family reunification. That their parents abandoned them in a strange land, or secreted them here, or if they stole into the country on their own, is enough to realize they left everything behind.

If they are willing to apply for citizenship, they may do so and get to the back of the line. And by the way, the back of the line is IN their native country.

Agreed. Now if only the Republicans would grow a spine and write a bill with that in it. ( also put language in that would eliminate birthright citizenship to those born of non-US citizens - with a non-separable clause in the bill. That way if the Dims challenge it in court and a liberal judge strikes that part, the whole bill disappears and no more DACA )

We’ve made ‘deals’ about illegals before (Reagan - Bush) - democrats and ‘nevertrumpers’ will take the parts they like (AMNESTY) and NOT fund the parts they don’t like (KEEPING NEW ILLEGALS OUT)... REPUBLICANS MUST STOP BEING PLAYED FOR FOOLS... ENOUGH IS ENOUGH... STOP PAUL RYAN FROM BRINGING IN MORE CHEAP LABOR... Stop democrats from importing more democrats on OUR DIME.

AMERICA FOR AMERICANS:

HERE’S WHAT ILLEGALS COST US...

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3585376/posts

Here are 14 reasons illegal aliens should vacate America, and I hope they are forwarded over and over again until they are read so many times that the reader gets sick of reading them:

1. $14 billion to $22 billion dollars are spent each year on welfare to illegal aliens (that’s Billion with a ‘B’)

3. $7.5 billion dollars are spent each year on Medicaid for illegal aliens.

4. $12 billion dollars are spent each year on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they still cannot speak a word of English!

5. $27 billion dollars are spent each year for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.

6. $3 Million Dollars ‘PER DAY’ is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens. That’s $1.2 Billion a year.

7. 28% percent of all federal prison inmates are illegal aliens.

8. $190 billion dollars are spent each year on illegal aliens for welfare & social services by the American taxpayers.

9. $200 billion dollars per year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens.

10. The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that’s two and a half times that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in t he US.

11. During the year 2005, there were 8 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our southern border with as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from other terrorist countries. Over 10,000 of those were middle-eastern terrorists. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroin, crack, guns, and marijuana crossed into the U.S. from the southern border.

12. The National Policy Institute, estimates that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion, or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period.

13. In 2006, illegal aliens sent home $65 BILLION in remittances back to their countries of origin, to their families and friends.

14. The dark side of illegal immigration: Nearly one million sex crimes are committed by illegal immigrants in the United States!

Total cost a whopping $538.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR !

I will fully support New York Donny when he earns that support with positive action.

Amnesty for illegal aliens is the opposite of positive action. It is betrayal.

The “Wall” is obviously an election ruse. NY Donny has done zero to fight for it. He’s signed multiple budget deals that omit it.

Now it’s on to the largest Amnesty in decades.

Disgusting.

Not quite, but seems not far off at times. Trump vs. Swamp is muddled at the moment.

A small fraction of the “800,000 children” prolly actually qualify for DACA.

Yeah. However, I don't know how that 800k number,[liberal media stretch] started but it's erroneous. Even Bezos's WaPo believes the number is even smaller than that. Wapoo report it is roughly 690k. Gingrich on Fox about week ago, said it was 560 or 590 thousand.

The true number who really qualify could be low as 300,000 or less subtracting, as you say and has been reported, because of fraud and criminality.

The no-hysteria version:

Americans will still be able to sponsor their spouses, children and parents but not their in-laws or cousins. Immediate family members and parents with serious medical conditions will be allowed to come and stay. Those who were brought here as children and grew up here to be Americans in culture, practice and loyalty will be staying and becoming citizens. Green cards for sale to high-cash-flow political class folks in other countries will end. Work visas will be fewer and more regulated. More fence and other security will be built in areas where it is needed.

Followed by intermittent, hysterical screeching from radical political, global business and foreign factions.

Our conversation would be an excellent springboard for an article addressing the corruptible aspects of illegal immigration, and societal decay.

Trump has done hundreds of things you’d like so far.

It’s a shame you reduce your comments to this type of diatribe, but hey folks choose to address things in positive or negative forms, and you’ve chose to twist everything to look as bad is you possibly could, and then convince yourself nothing good has happened.

I disagree with you.

Thanks folks.

I’m more of an idea man that a great leader.

If Trump were listening to me, I think he’d have one more voice that would help steer him clear of the shoals.

Converting law breaking illegal aliens into citizens, simply creates law breaking citizens.

The law is the law is the law is the law is the law is the law.

Any questions?

Illegal aliens should not have gotten work permits in the first place.

Legal aliens should have been the only ones to get a work permit.

We need to enforce or laws.

Do you get away with not abiding by our laws?

I sure don’t.
