Maryland city considering letting non-citizens vote
A small Maryland city drew national attention this week for allowing non-citizens including illegal immigrants to cast ballots in local elections – but it's just the latest municipality to do so, in a trend that has some worried the changing definition of 'voter' could erode what it means to be a citizen.
“It’s a slippery slope,” said Ira Mehlman, spokesman for the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR).
College Park, which approved the policy Tuesday, became the 11th municipality in Maryland alone to allow non-citizens to vote in local races.

We need a national law to stop this from happening in national elections.
A country that allows non-citizens to vote is NOT a country at all.
It’s a violation of the Guarantee Clause.
SO if enough illegal aliens move into a town they could literally be over half the vote. In reality, they would be the tipping point, giving Rats another way to thwart the American people.
These states are making decisions that affect foreign policy and National security, areas where the federal government is supreme. To see this, consider what would have happened is a state had decided in 1940 to let non-citizen Germans vote in their elections.
If immigrants in this country are so inclined not to become a citizen or are just to damn lazy to become one they don’t deserve the privilege of being allowed to vote.
There already is a national law for national elections. You have to be a citizen and other qualifications..age, residency...

Slippery slope for sure. I’m sure there will be a precedent set with this that will allow for the courts to determine the legality of voting in the general elections. Surely the American Citizens will lose that fight at least in the circuit courts, possibly the SCOTUS too.
It costs quite abit to become a citizen.
Every major city in America is under the control of leftists practicing city state autonomy in defiance of federal and state laws. Leftist activist judges are providing them cover and judicial protection. These are the kind of acts that spark civil wars as the legitimate citizenry becomes more and more marginalized. Add in Antifa, BLM plus BAMN and we have a hot mess.

The federal government is considering turning healthcare over to the states....one way or another the illegals are going to continue their free gravy train.
I may be wrong but I doubt that people that immigrate to the US because they truly want to become a US citizen are deterred by that cost.
The cost of just getting here and beginning a new life has to cost quite a bit.
That is sedition and needs a lawsuit.
This is a great way to allow a foreign nation to influence our elections.
Pure evil to erode the value of citizenship.
Many people gave their lives to give us this right
Their precincts must be denied validity.
