“The publisher (liberal) and the book site (Amazon liberal) conspire to pass a few million to Hillary and fund it on the backs of all consumers.”

Even worse, Amazon is subsidized by the taxpayers of the United States through the US Postal Service which delivers Amazon Prime packages 7 days a week at a cost far below the cost an average citizen pays to mail a package at the post office. The post office loses money every year and the taxpayer pays when the government makes up the deficit and pays again when the post office raises rates on ordinary letters and parcel post.

This is an example of another corporate subsidy Congress should, but will not, end.

Even worse: Amazon offers Amazon Prime at half price to people with EBT cards!

I swear, I thought this was a joke.

So, you and I pay $10.99 for Amazon Prime (shipping, movie streaming, etc.) but if you have an EBT card, you can get it for $5.99. This means anyone who has Amazon prime (or more accurately, just uses Amazon) subsidizes, against their will, welfare recipients above and beyond what we pay in taxes.
