I think that most of the contestants and the judges are apolitical. Shame on the powers that be to politicize the contest. Kinda like asking Honey BooBoo what she thinks of nuclear disarmament.
Did not know this show / contest even was occurring and could care even less what idiotic questions where asked or the often brain dead answers that were given!

Valid questioning. Are these girls smart enough to toe the line and recognize when they are in jeopardy? This is how conservative actors and directors have to live in Hollywood, so they may as well get used to it.

Just like they asked contestants in former years about the Benghazi murders and coverup, the flagrant disregard for security protocols when handling classified email, and the Fast and Furious gun running program that led to the murder of border patrol agents. Or when they asked how the weaponization and political targeting by the IRS should be handled as a criminal investigation and what would be the appropriate consequences. Or like when they asked how millions of people sneaking into the US through the Mexican border should be handled. Or how non-citizens voting should be handled. Or how we should handle formerly deported illegal aliens who return multiple times to commit rape and murder. Or even the soft-ball questions about how the global warming fear mongerers made predictions which have not even remotely come to pass.

They couldn’t bother to ask any of the candidates questions about the duties they would assume if crowned Miss America. Instead they chose to question them as if they were being interviewed by a Congressional Committee for a Cabinet or Judiciary position.
I love how Dennis Prager called it today. Paraphrasing: “Those fake judges actually asked finalists in the Miss America Pageant to call the President of the United States an a-hole!”
