Not saying the hurricane isn’t serious, but it didn’t do more than 10% of the damage predicted or being hyped 24 hours ago. It lost strength, tacked West, and is moving across Florida quite rapidly.

I agree. Compared to the past hurricanes that have went through Florida, Irma wasn’t that impressive.

Now the islands that saw Irma at cat 5 have a different story to tell.

From your lips to God's ears. That said, there is no way to know just yet, will have to wait for the morning. I remember right after Hurricane Andrew passed, the news media was showing video of the scant damage in Miami, for about 12 hours. They declared the storm a poofter. Then they went down to Homestead........
