The woman who created the 2012 deportation amnesty for Dreamers filed a lawsuit Friday protesting the Trump administration’s move to phase out the program, saying the decision was done on President Trump’s executive “whim.”
Janet Napolitano, who as President Obama’s Homeland Security secretary created the DACA program, is now the president of the University of California, and is leading the school system’s lawsuit demanding the program be reinstated.
She said her school system stands to lose money and the chance to educate some of its 4,000 illegal immigrant students, as well as perhaps having to let go its illegal immigrant staff.
“We really support out DACA students and part of the reason we’re filing this lawsuit it to help protect their rights,” Ms. Napolitano said.

So her argument is that Trump has no authority to rescind an unconstitutional EO signed by Obama? It will be interesting to see how a liberal judge justifies his/her opinion without looking like a total fool.

It doesn't matter. All they have to do is tie it up in the courts until Congress makes it the law. If Congress doesn't do it, sue again; tie it up some more.
Since at Jan’s Place, you can pick and choose the laws you want to follow, I guess it would be OK for someone to show up and beat the teeth out of her face, if they didn’t feel like respecting the laws against assault and battery that day...
You don't need to tell me; that's why I brought it up. Sadly as time goes by we get more and more CA and other state transplants who vote left plus the high Hispanic population in Southern Az; most of which vote left. We are a purple state verging on blue if we don't get the illegal voting and illegal immigrant problem under control. I don't know what, if anything, can be done about the transplant leftists.
