Janet Napolitano sues Trump’s DHS to preserve her DACA amnesty
The Washington Times ^ | Sept 8, 2017 | Stephen Dinan

The woman who created the 2012 deportation amnesty for Dreamers filed a lawsuit Friday protesting the Trump administration’s move to phase out the program, saying the decision was done on President Trump’s executive “whim.”

Janet Napolitano, who as President Obama’s Homeland Security secretary created the DACA program, is now the president of the University of California, and is leading the school system’s lawsuit demanding the program be reinstated.

She said her school system stands to lose money and the chance to educate some of its 4,000 illegal immigrant students, as well as perhaps having to let go its illegal immigrant staff.

“We really support out DACA students and part of the reason we’re filing this lawsuit it to help protect their rights,” Ms. Napolitano said.

Quit wasting our tax dollars, you putz! Just the fact that you had a JOB in Government and still have a nice fat pension waiting should be enough for anyone.

As usual, We The People were played...at great cost!

"it unconstitutionally violates their rights on “nothing more than unreasoned executive whim.”"

Never mind that Obama violated actual citizens' constitutional rights when he wrote his "unreasoned executive whim."

Indeed we do.

“illegal immigrant staff,” now there is an interesting violation of employment law.

Perhaps they should stop using them for slave labor to do the jobs Americans won’t do...

"She said her school system stands to lose money..."

From illegal activity. Criminal conspiracy in broad daylight.

Former Governor of Arizona.

Maybe the founders were right about democracy.

They gave us a republic, but I wonder if a republic becomes a democracy in the limit of distant representation and poor education.

In management there is a concept known as “span of control,” which refers to how many people or functions a manager can attend to competently. In our government, those that we elect are very far from us, through many layers of government, and have responsibility for many areas that they can’t possibly be expert in all of. So they have intermediate subordinates, and we have a pile of regulations which dwarf the laws they are created under.

Maybe it’s much harder for a government to actually be responsive to the governed when the society reaches a certain size. Or, for the electorate to have any knowledge of the competence or real motives of those they elect.

IGNORE all frivolous , unconstitutional , and law suits that seek to protect illegal activity . Prosecute those that file them .

Scumbags like Nap put illegals ahead of US citizens.

Not only are many LEGAL California citizens denied admission to U. California campuses, but many LEGAL US citizens from other states are denied admission or charged far higher out-of-state tuitions while ILLEGALS get the benefits.

Admission and finanicial aid, tuition benefits etc. are scarce commodities for the U. of California, many more want them than can get them. If you provide the scarce benefits to ILLEGALS you are denying said benefits/opportunities to many legal US citizens.

We sure do.

Supposed pillars of the community are coming out of the woodwork speaking against the rule of law.

when Napolitano ran for Arizona attorney general, then twice for governor of Arizona....she sought AND received the endorsement of......Sheriff Joe Arpaio......& she could not, would not have gotten elected as AG or two-term governor without Joe’s support & endorsement. She’s just covering her tracks, now.....maybe she’s planning to get into politics again.

This is really a good thing. The TRump DOJ, in defending this suit, is going to have to argue that DACA
Is unconstitutional, logically blocking Trump in if he tries to revive it without congressional approval.
