A northwest Indiana post office reopened Thursday morning after an explosion injured Wednesday night a newly-hired postal worker, who a source said is pregnant.
The explosion may have come from a pipe bomb inside a package at the East Chicago post office, fire officials said. According to the source, employees were told the explosion came from a package someone tried to mail from and authorities are aware of who the parcel was intended for.
