PRyno and Ditch need the whip to see if negative reinforcement will work with them.

Nice, kissy-face, positive reinforcement sure hasn’t.

Look, I perfectly understand sticking it to Ryan, but why in (Nicolas Cage’s character in “The Rock”) ZEUS’ BUTTHOLE would you want to work with Schumer and Pelosi?

Loyalty begets loyalty. Ryan and McConnell have been stabbing Trump in the back. They have not risen to his defense on a whole host of issues including the Russian collusion investigation. They joined the criticism of Trump on Charlottesville.

The do-nothing Republican-controlled Congress is a joke. Trump will start working with the Dems to get at least part of his agenda thru. The Reps have shown that they are incapable of governing. They can't reach a consensus among themselves to pass legislation.

Well, you know; Houston is a very rich community (4th largest city in the U.S.), so why do they need federal money from all us taxpayers? My observation.

Yeah Trump getting tired of the stall game; getting rolled by Ryano and the K Street who work out of his office.

The way Ditch and PRyno have been neglecting their duties, it’s likely inevitable either way.

Not wanting to repeal 0dontcare was a big sign.

Trump and the GOP had a race to see who could be first to surrender to the Dems and Trump won! By being first, Trump has enhanced his negotiating power to dictate the terms of surrender on the upcoming tax reform debate. I can see his point, why drag out the inevitable since the Dems run Congress, so let’s cut to the chase.

So Trump won by surrendering first.

In September of his first year of office.

I don’t really blame him. The democrats were going to stall, and the GOP too, and in the end make him look bad, so he undercut them. The man, like all of us, is tired of delay and inactivity.

but why ...would you want to work with Schumer and Pelosi?

I have been asking the same question, but finally a reason surfaces...

brushing aside the urgings of GOP leaders and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin for a much longer extension to the debt limit

In my ignorance of the details of the govt financing situation, I draw from this that Trump thinks its a bad idea to keep pushing out the debt issue. I believe I would agree. Seems to me like the compromise with the Dems was a better deal for the American people than what the RINOs were offering.

I'd be screaming at the RINO's "where's the budget?"

I laughed out loud.

As it dawned on me you are right.

When have a Majority Dem Congress or a Dem POTUS ever capitulated like this to the GOP in recent history. I am sure they have..I just don’t know when.

Republicans, McConnell and Ryan, have clear notice, work with Trump or he’ll be more than happy to work with Democrats.

Because Ryan and McConnell are a worse threat. Pelosi and Schumer have no actual power except what we grant them.
The actual enemy is the GOP leadership and they must be brought to heel...with a hard jerk of the leash.

They have kept the fake Russia narrative alive. They have stopped the effort to kill Obamacare. They have refused to fund a wall and just laughed that that would wait until at least Christmas. McConnell is slow walking Trumps appointments and even stayed in pro forma session to prevent their own party’s president from making recess appointments.

So emotions aside, this was way smart. Job number one is taking down Ryan and Schumer.

I am wondering, what do you think the result of a long winded battle would have been?

The GOP in Congress has demonstrated time and again that they are unable to rule as a majority.

Reagan compromised all of the time. And he is the epitome of Presidential to most of us.
