I am wondering, what do you think the result of a long winded battle would have been?
The GOP in Congress has demonstrated time and again that they are unable to rule as a majority.
Reagan compromised all of the time. And he is the epitome of Presidential to most of us.

The GOP in Congress has demonstrated time and again that they are unable to rule as a majority. And yet, for some strange reason, we continue to vote the rats into office!

(If you think voting still works, you're part of the problem. The ballot box is broken.)
