Branson thinks he's so smart. Smart people evacuated.

I'm sure those with him secretly wish they had left.

Wow, and I was really worried about Branson, just about as much as he is worried about me.

How is this news? Who cares? Let's get to the important stuff: is Kim Kardasian's ass bigger today?

tweeted ahead of the storm that he would be hunkering down with guests in a concrete wine cellar underneath his house

Those "guests" must be more like cult followers. Who would put their friends' lives in danger like that? Weird.

He can afford the rebuild. Glad no one was injured

As far as the ‘most powerful hurricane’ BS. It’s just that. Tell that to the fleets sunk in the Caribbean in the 18th century before they measured wind velocity. These articles reek of Gore-bull fake news.

I bet he got a great view of the Eye of the Hurricane.

Always look at the bright side.

Richard Branson wanted another adventure.
If it endangered others, oh well.

Richard Branson's menagerie of exotic animals are not all accounted for after Hurricane Irma tore through Branson's Necker Island ... TMZ has learned.

As we reported, Branson proudly assembled an awesome array of animals, including lemurs, flamingos, gigantic tortoises and exotic birds, among others.

We're told the lemurs were herded into guest rooms on the island and the parrots and tortoises were caged and stored in some of the structures. A number of structures on the island were either heavily damaged or destroyed, and people are now searching through the rubble, trying to find all the animals.

As for the flamingos -- and there are hundreds -- there was nothing Branson or his people could do ... the were left by the small lake to fend for themselves. As we reported, flamingos try to protect themselves in the midst of a hurricane by forming a line and taking turns buffering the others. With a storm as strong as Irma, however, that may have been a futile effort. The good news ... Branson, his family and his team have all been accounted for and are safe. http://www.tmz.com/2017/09/07/richard-branson-necker-island-survives-hurricane-irma-animals-sheltered/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

Too bad life really isn’t like a 70’s disaster movie. Branson would’ve been swept away screaming because of his hubris, but the innocent animals would have been mostly OK.

He stayed for the personal “climate change” photo ops amid all the destruction.

I wished him no harm and still do not, yet I consider him a fraud.

Who cares about how billionaire Richard Branson weathered the storm? Big deal.

This is one of the world’s oligarchs, trying to tell us how to live our lives and lecturing us on climate change. Idiot.

“The luxury home of billionaire entrepreneur Richard Branson in the British Virgin Islands was destroyed by Hurricane Irma”

GOOD!

Branson has had other disasters bring down his property on that island in the recent past:

Apparently his elevation was high enough so he wasn’t drowned in his cellar by a storm surge. Just guessing.
