There were tears, anger and anxiety as dozens of immigrants, supporters and allies gathered in front of the White House on Tuesday, chanting, singing and brandishing signs to protest President Donald Trump's short-circuiting of a program that lets young immigrants stay and work in the U.S.
Andrea A., 25, a recipient of the program, known as DACA, was too fearful to give her full last name.
"I'm scared because I don't know what will happen to me and my future, like school-wise," said Andrea, who is attending the Chamberlain School of Nursing, in Virginia. "I don't know what's going to happen to me ... Now I will be back to square zero."
Soon after the announcement, students at several schools in Denver walked out of their classes started walking out of their classrooms in protest. Reports of other walkouts in Arizona and New Mexico were being shared on Twitter.
Evelyn Mijares, 15, a junior at West Leadership Academy in Denver, was among those who walked out of classes. She does not have DACA, but her father was recently deported.
I was surprised by the decision Its like why have so much hate against Hispanic people? Were just trying to have an education.. its sad," Mijares said.
Luke, who did not want his last name used, came with his family when he was 11 on travel visas and remained in the U.S. Now 26, he is in graduate school studying chemistry. Before DACA, he had kept his undocumented status as quiet as possible, which he said is common in the Korean community.

What about American Dreamers?
What about the jobs Americans can and will do,
no matter the color of their skin?
Try political agitation as an illegal alien in virtually any other country on Earth, and see how far you get.
Uhhh....I thought all the Dreamers were hard at work or engrossed in study.
How many people are there? Maybe twenty-five?
Some protest.
Keep walkin’
South
Theres a hispanic country and its wonderful culture just waiting
Dream about being a middle class Mexican!
Or get real about why returning to Mexico is being treated like hell on earth
Why not ask May-hee-co why they have so much hate for gringos, since they don't let gringos sneak over the border and immediately go on welfare? May-hee-co strictly enforces their immigration laws, so why shouldn't the USA do the same?
Paul Ryan, Thom Tillis, Marco Rubio, and others will fight back for them.
Fight what?
They are illegally in the nation, and were hiding behind an illegal presidential act.
Their asses are two layers deep in unlawful-ness.
Oh, puleez. They're out there in the middle of the street daring ICE to surround them. They give their full name to the welfare office. They give their full name to attend our schools and hospitals and vote in our elections. But, the lying fake msm has to run with these scared fictional characters who are living in the shadows. The msm won't publish real illegals' names but they are more than happy to publish gun owning US citizens' names and addresses.
The media is pushing the line that these ‘dreamers’ have never known another country and that it’s unfair. The reason Obama created DACA was to resolve the issue (because Congress didn’t) about what to do with all the young people coming up through Mexico on the train. (Mostly from the hills of Guatemala where they don’t even speak Spanish.)
They do have a home to go back to and they, and their country of origin, will be better off for their time spent here.
This isn't the case. In fact, Americans have bent over backwards for Hispanics, generally. However, after years of listening to and reading gleeful comments from groups like La Raza and many on the left about how ‘whites’ will soon be a minority in the US, and how the US Southwest doesn't belong to us and will be ‘taken back’, and how ‘we will outbreed you’, etc., how can you blame people for feeling less than welcoming about those who came here illegally and who appear not to treasure being a US citizen? Where is Mexico in all of this? Why doesn't Mexico provide opportunities for its own citizens?
No. 1....Learn to read, write and speak English. 2. Fly the Mexican flag in Mexico.
“Try political agitation as an illegal alien in virtually any other country on Earth, and see how far you get.”
Yes, just do what they are allowed to do here in the US in Mexico, and they will drop kick you to the border, if you are lucky, jail you if you aren’t.
DACA = Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.
These parasites and their libtard supporters should look up the meaning of “Deferred”.
As in “We won’t deport you now - we will defer it until later when Obama is out of office.”.
This is just another Barack Obama Blivet left for the nation to deal with.
(A Blivet is 6 pounds of manure in a 5 pound bag)
What Obama “Deferred” through his illegal Executive Order President Trump can “Un-Fefer” legally.
ROFL! Perfect!
Learned something new today!
We had a dream too.
We had a dream that we could use the money we earned to make life better for our family
instead of the government taking it to raise fatherless bastards from foreign countries.
Is that some kind of reference to Obama?
