Reported to Senate with amendment(s) (06/20/2002)

Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors Act or the DREAM Act - Amends the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 to repeal the denial of an unlawful alien's eligibility for higher education benefits based on State residence unless a U.S. national is similarly eligible without regard to such State residence.

(Sec. 3) Authorizes the Attorney General to cancel the removal of, and adjust to permanent resident status, an alien who: (1) has attained the age of 12 prior to enactment of this Act; (2) files an application before reaching the age of 21; (3) has earned a high school or equivalent diploma; (4) has been physically present in the United States for at least five years immediately preceding the date of enactment of this Act (with certain exceptions); (5) is a person of good moral character; and (6) is not inadmissible or deportable under specified criminal or security grounds of the Immigration and Nationality Act.

Authorizes the Attorney General to take similar steps with respect to an alien who: (1) would have met such requirements during the four-year period immediately preceding the enactment of this Act; and (2) is enrolled in, or has graduated from, an institution of higher education.

Directs the Attorney General to establish a procedure permitting an alien to apply for cancellation and adjustment without being placed in removal proceedings (in addition to cancellation and adjustment availability in removal proceedings). Provides for: (1) expedited application processing without additional fees; and (2) confidentiality of applicant information. Prohibits the removal of an alien who has not yet received a high school diploma or equivalent but has a reasonable opportunity of meeting the requirements under this Act. Permits such an alien to work.

DACA is Orrin Hatch's baby, for it is just his original bill "passed into law" by Obama and his pen, who served as our national legislature for eight years.

Let's tie Old Orrin to the illegal aliens he loves so much, and remove him from office next year.

First elected in 1976, 7 terms is long enough!!

A lot of these liberal Mormons are like liberal Catholics, they want to use the flood of illegals to pad church rolls.

Most folks forget that Hatch also recommended Ruth Bader Ginsburg to Clinton for nomination to the Supreme Court. It’s hard to believe but is true. Clinton did not know Ginsburg before Hatch recommended her.

ANYTHING with this weasel language should be gotten rid of ASAP.

Abortion is “choice.”
Illegal aliens are “dreamers.”
Fascist leftists are “antifa”
Leftist pukes are “progressive.”

The left purposefully uses language to set it up so that merely opposing them paints us as terrible, evil people. I mean, who could be against progressive anti-fascists who are innocent dreamers who only want to choose?

Why did Hatch want Ginsberg, a radical ACLU lawyer, on the Supreme Court? Inquiring minds want to know.

There are poor people of all ages who were born in the United States of America, who aren’t romanticized as dreamers, and aren’t helped.

What’s the big deal about sending them back? I’ve seen videos of Mexico where there are hordes of college-age women in skimpy bathing suits, dancing on the beach and drinking fruity cocktails with little umbrellas in them.

Senator Hatch is not a liberal and is leading and creating the inflection point for a certain Mormon prophesy about there being a Mormon Superman USA—the right place, time, and moment. Agent provocateur for Mormonism he is.

I heard a most stunning straw man argument for keeping DACA:

An EMS “Dreamer” was rescuing Harvey’s flood victims, and we wouldn’t have had his essential serice had he been deported.

Did it never occur to these people that if he had been deported (back to where he belongs) there would have been an AMERICAN EMS guy in his place?

A Dream for the foreign freeloaders, a nightmare for us Americans paying for it.
Try sending your kid to Mexico for three free hots-and-a-cot, free medication and education.

Try sending your kid to out of state school and ask the registrar to charge you in-state tuition.
Kill Obama’s illegal order. Get these freeloaders THOOMC.

How about Steve Young(49ers)? Couldn’t win in Calif. Brigham Young is somewhere in his background. Now if he didn’t prefer the company of other men...
