A Minneapolis bar shut down after performers canceled, customers vowed to boycott it and employees were repulsed to learn the owner donated $500 to former KKK leader David Duke's 2016 Senate campaign.

Caught between those who were outraged over the donation and white supremacists who thought they could claim the bar as their own were more than a dozen employees who became collateral damage in the fallout.

Sounds like someone is hunting down David Duke donaters. They nailed another guy, married to a chinese woman, running a Chinese restaurant, who also donated to Duke when he ran in Indiana. Not sure if they’re getting this information legally or what, but they’re clearly going down the list to shut people’s restaurants or businesses down if they happened to run any.

Louisiana, not Indiana. The “ana” caused a brain fart.

“all of whom are directly affected by the actions of David Duke,”

That’s their problem. They believe in that hallucination.

Now we need similar employees and patrons who will go after business owners who are part of or donating to SPLC or Antifa.

Soon after, DJ Jake Rudh announced on Facebook that he would no longer host Transmission, his long-standing weekly dance night, at Club Jäger, saying he didn't want to be in a "venue where the owner supports the likes of David Duke and his messages of hate."

Two should be able to play that ‘gotcha!’ game.
It shouldn’t be happening at all. Who you donate to should be your private business. But if one side does it without prosecution or even a threat of lawsuit, a precedent has been established. A new normal of acceptable behavior has now emerged.
This happened a lot in California before Gay Marriage was legalized. Many people lost their jobs years ago because they were illegally doxed. No one talks about it.

You missed the memo: The core Antifa thugs are public school teachers.

Can we shut down all the businesses that donated to the campaigns of Communists like Zero, Hillary, Frankenstein, etc ? Fair is fair. Commies are worse than Nazis, they’ve killed more people.

Check certain properties in San Francisco, Oakland, Piedmont, Albany, El Cerrito, Berkeley, Emeryville and Walnut Creek, California. Check properties fully or partially owned by college instructors. That is my speculation. I don’t have evidence before me. It is from these cities that most the Antifa and BAMN come from.

As long as the government is not sanctioning someone for their political beliefs, I don’t have a problem with most of this. The performers, patrons, and employees are all free to choose with whom they associate.

I am concerned about the harassment of employees, whom no one could reasonably expect too know about the donation. As for the owner, if the donation was a public record, he should expect blowback for supporting slimeball penny-ante fascist (a real one as opposed to a unsupportable accusation) like Duke.

How do we know someone’s political leanings or donations, unless they want to tell us all?

I work for a unit of a corporation. The corporation has about 50,000 employees in locations in about a dozen different states. I have no clue about political donations of any of the employees, much less top management of my company.

I’m not going to sit here and defend David Duke.

But I can’t say I would quit or protest, if I learned that my company top management supported Hillary. Or if they supported any of a number of liberal causes, which corporate America seems to support nowadays. Partly it’s because I want to keep my job, and partly because we are all free to have political beliefs separate from our work.

Will any bars or stores close when people find out the owner donated to the NAACP, which is an organization that espouses the rights of colored people over the rights of non-colored people?

Won't work. Society in general considers the SPLC and antifa to be acceptable.

Also, I don't think there's a single person running as a liberal or leftist that is considered persona non grata by the public at large.

Getting lists of people who gave money to socialists like Bernie Sanders or Lieawatha will not bring grief to those people.

Look for the restaurants where the patrons wear masks
and the cashier doesn’t have her hands up.

In many places right now, supporting Donald Trump is equated to supporting Duke. A person could literally be murdered if they are doxxed as donating to Donald Trump. People are getting brutally beaten just for wearing Trump shirts randomly on the street, mostly by Obama’s sons. Even I am at risk, living and studying in an area that is largely Blue with lots of violent people around just looking for an excuse to commit violence.

This donation doxxing business is not good, especially in Democrat cities where the Democratic citizens are very violent. Right now it’s only the random David Duke donaters losing their jobs and having their lives ruined. Next it will be businesses in Chicago, or just some guy who works at a local store, who will be doxxed and find himself getting spat on and assaulted.

“Caught between those who were outraged over the donation and white supremacists”

Um, this says it all...outraged v white supremacists.

RME. One day the “victims” will run out of of people to victimize. I know I don’t give a damn about the rainbow crew or the minority crew or the “immigrant” crew or “women” crew and millions of Americans are just like me. We not only stopped caring but now it’s pissing us off.
