With the focus of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation on former Donald Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, we are beginning to see the outline of his grand plan. Phase 1: Pressure Manafort to flip. Phase 2: ?. Phase 3: Impeach Trump.
Of course the big problem is Phase 2. Just what can Manafort reveal if he "flips" since there is no evidence that he knows anything about Trump-Russia collusion? What? What rightwing source is making that claim? Well, Vox which is hardly conservative. In fact it can best be categorized as way left of center. The Vox writer revealing that there is probably no there there as far as any Trump-Russia collusion knowledge by Manafort is Andrew Prokop:

What you have here is the failure of logic, in leading from Point A to Point C, with no intervening thread beyond an assertion that “it might happen”.
No Point B was ever established, or even defined.
The author should not be talking about Trump-Russia collusion as if it were an established fact.
Point B: A miracle happens in the fantasy world of liberals.
They haven’t even defined what they mean by “collusion”.
Except he is not a hot head, and has reacted to each of these provocations very calmly, within the boundaries of the law, or even not at all.
Now there is evidence of Comey/Hillary collusion.

In progland, everyone is dirty. Ditto in rinoland. The establishment has ruled by blackmail and intimidation forever. Even if nothing can be proven, they know there are so many rules, so much fine print, that it is impossible not to have violated one of them or some portion of one of them and still become successful. The miracle, to them, would be to find people who cannot have some process violation hung around their neck, at least long enough to use fear to pressure them to implicate the real target.
They target whomever seems weakest and incrementally use that as a stepping stone to pin something...anything...on the actual target.
What we are seeing is the result of their frustration. Their decades long track record of implementing the above scenarios has stopped working in their favor.
They attack Trump and Trump wins.
They accuse Trump and we respond with stronger allegiance.
They attack us and we retaliate, with Trump at our backs.
They lie. We counter with the truth.
They screech. We laugh.
They lash out indiscriminately and it ricochets.
They cannot accept it. They cannot believe it. They are bleeding power, money and support. They have lost their inevitability. It has driven them visibly & publicly insane. They have become shrieking, feces-throwing primates.

Rosenstein’s authorization memo appointing Mueller does not state:
• what violation(s) of law are suspected
• what evidence exists to support those suspicions
• a time limit for the conduct of the investigation
Rosenstein does not state the grounds for the authorization. He has authorized an unlimited amount of time to investigate anything.

It’s a sham. A completely fraudulent abuse of legal processes for political purposes.
It makes you wonder what’s the next trick they’ll pull out of the hat? They’ve tried everything so far and America is having a collective yawn.
Most, except for the wildly rabid left, see it for what it is, a hyper partisan hitjob not just aimed at Trump, but also aimed at every American who voted to rid themselves of Hillary Clinton.
We shouldn’t stand for this. It needs to stop.
Sounds like you're referring to one Barak Hussein Obama there. Who could have been impeached several times over. That is, if he ever had any real opposition. Which he didn't. Only the American people were in opposition, not the two parties in power.
So what else is there for these clowns to do all day but dig into everything that they weren't hired to do.

If they would have spent a fraction of the time investigating the Kenyan the US might no be in the pee poor shape it is in now
The goal of all this stuff is to put up a political smokescreen to keep Hellary (maybe all the way up to Zero!) from being indicted. That will only work for so long! I think Trump and Session are just letting this all play out. If they would have gone after her immediately this would have been brought up and blunted the effort to prosecute so much so that it would have failed. Believe it or not at this level (Unfortunately but its a fact of life!) the political ground has to be prepared before the legal trigger can be pulled.
It also or so liberal perceive to damage Trump politically and slows or stops his agenda by emboldening the Left and the “NeverTumpers” in the GOP by giving them cover. Again this will only work for awhile, eventually the smokescreen dissipates. Of course the Trump team could do something stupid that’s real and then its liberal game on. Liberals are probably hoping the smokescreen delay with allow that to happen. It’s easy to do something technically illegal inadvertently in this day and age. The longer the delay the higher the probably that will happen or so liberals hope.
