The buck stops with Trump. He should have fired them all by now. There are plenty of republican attorneys out there in local government offices who could have been given jobs in the AG offices.

Sessions gave up before he started the job as AG. He is less than a figurehead. He does nothing and comments on nothing. That would be great if he was actually working beyond the public’s view. We know he is not . He hasn’t looked at the DNC computers. He hasn’t looked into the Clinton Foundation. He has no control over the FBI regarding releasing records. He is of no use. Major problem appears to be that Trump wants it to be this way. No urgency. Go along to get along.
