Outing people who seek anonymity when expressing their views; the left is furious that our secret ballot was used to beat Hillary, so the public battles have to be won by intimidating any opposition (through fear of public exposure). This past presidential election saw the fewest lawn signs/bumper stickers (for either candidate) in my lifetime; a sign of things to come.

Get off of and stay off of social media. Direct your family and friends to keep you and pictures of you off of social media. Find a private email provider. Turn off Bluetooth and location services on your wireless devices. Use a VPN whenever and wherever you can while using the Internet.
This “doxxing” crap is done in the open and is very easy to accomplish given the open nature of the Internet and society in general. IT security professionals build profiles for people with relative ease nowadays. Don’t put yourself out there, and the chances of being “doxxed” are virtually nil.
Is that the "far right" rally that was opposed to Marxism , the "far right" rally that was going to gather to pray, and/or the "far right" rally that was going to have 8 speakers, only one of which was white, and included blacks and a transgendered person? The NY Times writers and eds are such jerks.
One of the perfect example of how this crap is used to intimidate people who stray from leftist orthodoxy is how the former CEO of Mozilla was forced out of his job when it was revealed that he had the temerity to donate to a political fund that supported traditional marriage.
The left believes in the politics of personal destruction, and they won’t hesitate to try to destroy peoples’ lives.

I used to do book and CD reviews on Amazon, under my real name, but I quit that after I got into a flame war with some jerk.
As for social media, I would sooner pass through a needle’s eye than have a Facebook page.

Women often go into HR because they think it’s a touchy feely “girly” position... at the last big company I worked at HR was so hated that when an announcement was made that the head of HR was leaving because of stage 4 breast cancer our department had an impromptu party night.
In the soviet union people turned in their neighbors for talking against the state. This is the same fascism that the NYT is promoting.
