Someone published that our American left voiced opposition to Communism —yet helped advance Communism far more than it ever hurt them .I apologize to Dennis Prager for my poor rendering of his excellent editorial on those who do not fight the real evil—but fight statues. I admire people like Dennis Prager who can say what I know is true far better than I.

The socialist Nazis and communist Antifa both got their start in 1930s Germany, and were basically groups of far-left radicals using the same tactics and vying for the same followers. I do not think for a moment that modern Nazis have much to do with the original Nazis; their motivation seems to be more of an in-your-face type of rebelliousness. And in any case, there appears to be few of them. The Antifa, on the other hand, are behaving in a manner very true to their origins. The bottom line is that cheering on Antifa because they claim to be against [a caricature of] Nazis is like cheering the Bloods because they're against the Crips.
The KKK was adopted early on by the Democrats as their militant arm. And the Democrats have never really repudiated that; in fact, they still seem to have the same anti-minority goals. They just use different tactics to oppress people these days.
It was a term of derision adopted by Hilary and the media to undermine Trump. Well, they invented it, we can use it, and its weaponized value is demonstrated by the degree of howling that was raised when we started calling these thugs alt-left. Secret societies who go around armed wearing concealing uniforms sound an awful lot like the fascists, Hitler jugend and browns shirts of yore.

Polling re Dems and Antifa must be disastrous. In the last day or so the lefty press have switched in lockstep from “antifa good” to “antifa very, very bad”. Shades of Molotov-Ribbentrop.
Antifa is not in any way some sort of “Alt-Left” nor should any conservative use that term for it.
Antifa is just normal, everyday leftism. Make them wear it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if something behind the scenes was going on, like an investigation into just who is behind their violence - and something is going to break. It seems now that they feel a need to be on record, so they can respond such as “...who, little ole us, why we are (now) denouncing that violence. You guys must have us confused with someone else.”
Something is DEFINITELY going on - they seemed to have gotten a lot of mileage by blaming, exclusively, the 300 to 400 Nazis and KKK types in this country for all the violence...but now they’re starting to tell the truth? Something is definitely going on...and we’ll likely find out sooner than later.
Yea, when I post on news forums, I ALWAYS use the term Alt-Left...and they always deny that the Alt-Left exists. They absolutely HATE the term...and it gone, which is why they’re not even using the term Alt-Right much in the past few days.

The meme has gone out from the top that the Antifa movement has gotten out of control, is angering Americans who have been neutral up to this point, and is splintering the party. The people at the top are panicking.
