Thieves drove a truck through a metal barrier and stole 65 guns from Dragonmans gun store and shooting range while Mel Dragon Man Bernstein the most armed man in America was out eating dinner.
The incident occurred on Sunday night.
According to The Denver Post, Bernstein said, I have over 200 machine guns in my name. If I had been there they would have gotten shot in the head. Video of the break-in was caught by surveillance cameras and apparently shows young kids who were masked and hooded.
He said the suspects got away with some valuable weapons but did not touch the most expensive ones; all of which are electronically controlled machine guns.
Bernstein met with the El Paso County Sheriffs Office and recognized the suspects vehicle. Moreover, he noted that very few people know his comings and goings, so he believes the EPCSO will narrow it down and make an arrest quickly.

Nonsense. That's not a target or operation done by "young kids."
Now known as Second Most Armed Man in America.
What are “electronically controlled machine guns”?
Gatling guns?
I have heard him in the past boasting about the size of his arsenal and giving detailed descriptions of what he owns.
I wish him no ill will, I’m actually quite impressed, but the only surprise is that such robberies don’t happen more often and with far bigger takes.
Someone’s going to be fencing 65 red-hot guns with freshly scratched out serial numbers.
“is why you do NOT widely advertise what you have or don’t have.”
It is DragonMan, dummy. A major machine gun retailer with a public gun range and shop.
Mel Bernstein? I thought Tony Montana offed him at the dealership.
Perhaps “young kids” is the new “teens”, or “youths”.
Couldn’t have happened to a more rude SOB.
Looks like they already caught the losers.
Yep, although I enjoy his videos, they always leave me with a lingering feeling of unease. I probably wouldn’t show off such a collection, even if I stored it in a former missile silo.
Yea, makes me think of the preppers, bragging about their great supplies. I have supplies too...but no one who lives near me, including friends, has any idea just what I have, or how much of it I have.
I thought only Law Enforcement and the military were allowed to possess post 1986 manufactured automatic weapons?
Perhaps aircraft guns? Even WWII planes had electrically controlled turret guns.
The bragging is certainly a problem. But I have to wonder why all those guns weren’t in heavy, locked safes. Or behind heavy, secure storage doors.
Bragging + carelessness = disaster.
Who said anything about 1986?
Are you able to respond to people without needlessly insulting them? I get that insulting anonymously is fun and makes you feel important. So far you’re tossing out ‘Dummy’ and ‘Retarded’ when you could have easily made your point otherwise. Most of us here are grown ups.
Not really sure what that means......
Although I have no such armory, it is generally unwise to brag about such things.
