I have been watching local storm coverage as I live in the area. Along the bottom of the screen, a running list of shelters is constantly displayed. I have seen schools, churches and large places like the downtown Convention Center listed as shelters; have not seen one mosque listed.

They are several feet above grade there. If they flooded then 59 freeway had to have been underwater too. Dubious.
