And here’s another thing I do. I openly accuse anyone of saying we have to stop using fossil fuels and switch to “renewable energy” of being the ultimate climate change deniers. They are denying that the change has already gone past the no-return point. They are denying that our only path forward is to go completely forward with technology and MANAGE climate change by developing applicable engineering technologies (like the Dutch, and like not-yet-existent terra-forming) and give up the FANTASY that we can stave off climate change by wearing warmer sweaters in the winter.
The whole argument puts ME on the offensive, them on the defensive, and because I’m more well read on almost all science subjects than the programmers I work with, I can get them to STFU around me about “climate change”.
Very liberating indeed.
