James Woods ‘Blacklisted’ from Hollywood
newsbusters.org ^ | 8/28/2017 | Melissa Mullins

James Woods is a well-known veteran Hollywood actor who, prior to 2013, was seen on the big and small screen numerous times. Things changed in 2013 when Woods became an outspoken critic of then President Obama, which is a big “no-no” in Hollywood. Why? Because being a conservative in Hollywood can cost you jobs, it’s like modern-day McCarthyism and career death sentence.

On his blacklisted Hollywood status, Woods tweeted on August 21: “The only reason I express my views is that I have accepted the fact that I’m blacklisted. Also I bought Apple stock in the 80’s…”

In 2013, Woods famously tweeted a response to a fan who asked him if he were concerned that his conservative views would cost him work. He practically predicted his future: “I don't expect to work again. I think Barack Obama is a threat to the integrity and future of the Republic. My country first…”

Since then, Woods believes he’s a victim of his conservative political views and has accepted the fact that he has been blacklisted in Hollywood. Woods tweeted that he wasn’t always a conservative social warrior, in fact, he was a Democrat until Bill Clinton was impeached and every Democrat “stood behind a convicted perjurer.”

Maybe he and Trump could ‘collude’ on some stellar tweets.

Here in NYC I pretty much keep my political views to myself, though I know how to strategically place hits that set heads spinning, like predicting that the Russia-Russia-Russia obsession of the Rats is doomed to failure and that the Rats are going to end up missing real opportunities because of their obsession with this.

All Trump supporters should blacklist Hollywood with no exceptions.

Under so-called McCarthyism, known Communist film industry people were blacklisted by private citizens, not the government. Red Currents which identified such figures was not a government publication.

And the studios still employed the radicals who might trigger a studio boycott. They just had to work under pseudonym. You mean to tell me that no one that hired the screenwriters under pseudonym didn’t know who they were hiring? It was to deceive the ticket buying public, not the government or the filmmakers.

This is a corporate blacklisting of actors who are not clandestine about their politics. Holding a CPUSA card membership and then unwilling to vouch for it is not the same thing. Colluding with the Soviet Union and the KGB during the Cold War is not the same thing.

LOL! Yeah sometimes you gotta know when to hold ‘em. If you’re in NYC, probably best to not be too vocal. For your own protection of course.

Jack Crow: Let me ask you a question. When you were stabbing that vampire in there?

Father Adam Guiteau: Yeah?

Jack Crow: Did you get a little wood?

Father Adam Guiteau: Mahogany.

Jack Crow: Excuse me?

Father Adam Guiteau: Ebony.

Jack Crow: What?

Father Adam Guiteau: Teak.

Jack Crow: Are you possessed by demons?

Father Adam Guiteau: Major Chubby.

Jack Crow: Language, Padre, language!

HERE COMES THE SUN, SWAMP CRITTERS!

And this is what the left whined about in the fifties. Blacklisting. So it’s Only for thee.....not for me.

Hollywood has spent the last 60+ years getting even with Joe McCarthy.

Last thing I saw him in was a TV show called ‘Shark’. He played a very aggressive lawyer named Stark, hence the nickname. Pretty good show.

It's not coincidence that Hollywierd and its movies have hit an all time low for viewers this summer in the theaters.

They have gone to the Left while James Woods and the country have moved to the right.

Nothing but crap to see in the theaters lately.

He was far and away the best actor in the “Holocaust” mini-series.

Woods is 70. Doubt he cares if he doesn’t get another action film.

I also was extremely vocal anti-Hillary, which was so much fun. I ostensibly did it under the guise of being a Bernie supporter, but I never said a single word about Bernie, ever. I only ran down Hillary. It was so much fun. It would create such a BURN on the faces of some of my orthodox-DNC co-workers but they couldn’t say much because as far as they knew I was even more politically correct than they were, even by their own standards.

You have no idea how much fun I had openly bashing Hillary during the campaign!
