This happened with Ike back in 2008..
I think the boaters just went out looking back then..
Time to call in the Cajun Navy!
This might also be a good time to note that the Republican governor called for evacuations and the Democrat Mayor said, “Nah, stay put.”

I can see the long knives already coming out for the kill on the Trump response. It will never be enough for those people that were told to evacuate but chose to ignore the warnings.
Its going to rain at least 3 more days. This is just getting started.

I’d just like to call attention to the white male aspect of this.
They rock.
Wow. A racist/sexist twofer.
Id check with my insurance guy before id head out to help
you’re not kidding. I was watching the early morning news and the MSM heads were practically drooling waiting to pounce on any negative news whatsoever to blame on Trump. Now CNN is showing a private-home-type assisted living facility with frail, old people sitting waist-deep in water. Which should have been mandatory evacuated. They’ll find a way to blame Trump for that, too.
The good news is, maybe Houston can export their Katrina transplants back to Louisiana?
Uh oh.
I love screen shots.
give ‘em time, it’s early yet.
This whole situation is truly sad, and the rain will continue for days. Malfunction in NOLA with the pumping system ahead of forecast 3 days of rain. None of this has anything good.
You don’t have to be a Texan to figure out that looting in Texas is a bad career move.
Whenever there is a disaster, the white males (and sometimes black males) of the working class take over. One day perhaps, feministas will remember this.
