In a series of videos constituting a campaign for truth, the NRA is making clear it is out to expose the violent tendencies of liberal elitists and to defeat those elitists at the ballot box and in the public arena of ideas.
The pivot toward elites represents a marked shift in the NRAs Second Amendment strategy, as it means they have moved from simply fighting anti-gun legislation to fighting the talking heads, the academicians, and the wealthy, erudite leftists who pump ideas into legions of gullible anti-gunners.
So the NRA warns that liberal elitists are prone to actual violence and distorting or suppressing the truth. In response, liberal elites distort or suppress the NRAs message.

I think that’s the NRAs strategy. They know people support them, over the left. The more they drive the left nuts, the saner they look, and the more public opinon favors gun rights. And it’s been working. They’ve cast gun grabbers for shat they are, out of touch elitists who don’t really care about the safety of average Americans.
LOL! Oh, I see. The DJT tactic. Yeah, could work.
Unless the NRA is going to buy billboard or television air time I don’t see a point in this. They can make videos to be aired on YouTube but the only people who will watch them are pro Second Amendment anyway.
Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see it work, EFFECTIVELY!
Soon there will be overt violence and it will be the fault of the liberals. Democratic politicians such as McAuliffe in Virginia and big city mayors in Oakland, Baltimore and Chicago have ordered their police to stand down, to advance their political narrative.
Oh we're not gonna take it
No, we ain't gonna take it
Oh we're not gonna take it anymore
We've got the right to choose it
There ain't no way we'll lost it
This is our life, this is our song
We'll fight the powers that be just
Don't pick our destiny 'cause
You don't know us, you don't belong
Oh we're not gonna take it
No, we ain't gonna take it
Oh we're not gonna take it anymore
Oh you're so condescending
Your gall is never ending
We don't want nothin', not a thing from you
Your life is trite and jaded
Boring and confiscated
If that's your best, your best won't do
Oh Oh
We're right (yeah)
We're free (yeah)
We'll fight (yeah)
Who did you mean by "they"?
The first of these ads ran well before the current round of insanity.
Agree. It was a surprise to see the Carry Guard advertisements on cable, but then again that is for profit. Civil rights may not be as important.
Always amusing to notch up liberal paranoia. You could just imagine the next meeting of the New York Times editorial board. “ What’s to stop some undercover NRA guy from coming into this room and killing us all. I say we fire three more reporters and hire more armed security. We really don’t these reporters anyway. The news is created, not reported”.

I think you’re right on target. The more NRA gets the left to mouth off about gun control the more public opinion and voters turn against them. Great strategy!
The NRA has made a number of “Freedom’s Safest Place” ads in the last couple of years, all of them very, very effective. The best have been made by Colin Noir and Dana Loesch. I hope these are what the goal is...

Are you kidding? The left has people whose full-time employment is monitoring everything in cyberspace that conservative organizations, groups, and individuals put out there.

Of course, that’s called Soros. But that’s not what was meant. What was meant was that the NRA will not reach Middle America by posting YouTube videos that are only watched by NRA members (and yes, the Soros bunch). They need to run ads on football games and markets like that...so as to draw in new supporters.
The NRA does buy ad time, generally on cable news shows. I’ve seen a lot of these ads in recent months.

Yes, all good points, I misunderstood.
No prob!
