The Paris Climate Accords were never an end in itself, i.e., “If we spend enough, the terrible calamity of runaway heat death shall be averted”, it was to be a leveling of all the world to one rather passive herd to be managed by the few, another “command and control” scheme for managing large numbers of humanity.

Anthropogenic global warming was never a real thing, and may not ever be a real thing, because there are just WAY too many other factors which operate either to increase or decrease the overall balance. And to assign all the effects to just the presence of one compound, carbon dioxide, is to set themselves up for total fail, because carbon dioxide, vital as it may be to all life on earth, just does not have the capability to do all the wondrous and magical things that are attributed to its presence by the scientifically challenged.

There is no such thing as “settled science”, but a great many things may be dismissed as being ineffectual explanations after the application of the scientific method.

The phlogiston theory is a superseded scientific theory that postulated that a fire-like element called phlogiston is contained within combustible bodies and released during combustion. It was first stated in 1667 by Johann Joachim Becher, and then put together more formally by Georg Ernst Stahl. The theory attempted to explain burning processes such as combustion and rusting, which are now collectively known as oxidation.

Then a brand-new thing called “oxygen” was found, and this pretty much short-circuited the phlogiston theory.

But the oxygen was always there, the presence awaited discovery.

It is not man-made climate change anymore. It is the white supremacists doing it. They are having their noses rubbed in the race card so much that the heat from the friction is causing climate change. That’s the ticket!

...we almost — almost — had the transfer of vast sums of wealth and power as a result of this hoax.

I'd wager we have already transferred $0.5 TRILLION of wealth on this scam. Total up how electricity costs have shot up nationwide from the "Renewable Energy Standards." Total up all the price increases in vehicles as they were redesigned to lighten them to meet mileage standards. Total up all the costs of shutting down coal fired plants before the end of their economic lifetime. Total up all the price increases in housing, heating, cooling, and lighting to meet energy standards. Total up all the tax subsidies for solar panels on your roof, on your schools, on your nearby commercial buildings. Total up all the tax subsidies paid to rich Tesla drivers so they could do their virtue signaling. Total up the $100/gallon biofuel out into aircraft jet engines and the navy's ships. Total up all the government "investment" (IOW, our tax dollars) put into countless failed "green" businesses. Total up the higher prices for EVERYTHING you buy that has an energy component in it.

The cost to us of all of this is hidden from us as it got slowly added to all of our bills over three decades. It is like the concept of withholding that makes gigantic government possible. You lard on these costs slowly and spread it across 20 or 30 bills you pay each month and nobody ever notices it. Nobody is ever able to jump up and scream "Damn it! I'm paying $500 per month on green bullish!t I don't want, don't need, and don't believe in!"

Some economist could write a fine research paper on what all this cost us and the associated economic drag on the nation. It wouldn't surprise me to find a quarter point of GDP shaved off chasing this global warming / green chimera.

[[The year 2016 turned out to be disastrous for the global-warming Doomsday Lobby.]]

It has been exposed for many years now- but sadly that hasn’t stopped the agenda from becoming world policy- many many people are convinced man is causing climate change, and no amount of truth will stop them from believing that unfortunately- The climate alarmists aren’t worried- they know they have most of the world convinced now, and they know most of the world doesn’t care about actual facts- all they care about is feel good motives to ‘save the planet’- Facts be damned

[[One of Trumps many great achievements was at the 11th hour saving America from this multi-trillion dollar fraud.]]

It was- but as soon as a democrat takes office- we’re back in the scam- Hell- some states are ignoring the withdrawal and forcing their citizens to participate in the paris scam

[[I am amazed that this big a lie can be orchestrated across so many fields of expertise.]]

Satan is definitely at work:

For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie

Satan provided the lie- and God has sent powerful delusions for the masses to believe and promote it-

It is my personal belief that a one world government will use climate change to control the masses and eventually force people to take the mark of the beast because noone will be able to afford anything due to massive climate change regulations taxes and fees-

People who are freezing to death because they can’t afford $20 a gallon oil and gas, and $20 dollar milk and $15 dollar eggs etc will be desperate enough to take the mark to get their ‘free government subsidies’ to purchase these life sustaining necessities

It’;s just a personal opinion of mine- but I see the writing on the wall- Climate change regulation is going to financially drain everyone but the elite— EVERYTHING is going to be linked to ‘worsening global warming’- and the government will impose new taxes and climate regulations on the produces of products that will drive up prices to unmanageable levels- unsaved people will then gladly take the mark in order just to survive-

Arguably the phlogiston theory was right. There was an element involved in combustion and absent that element combustion doesn’t occur.

Had ‘oxygen’ been simply been called phlogiston then we’d probably be celebrating the memory of J.J. Becher.

1830’s = Railroad speed warnings.
1890’s = Heads of science declared everything is solved, and ... then the atomic nucleus and radiation were discovered.
1920’s = The tectonic theory of continental drift was laughed out of the hall by geologists and science establishment when proposed

And the list goes on, and on, and on.

Though Storm Harvey is gaining strength in the Gulf of Mexico, we STILL have not had a hurricane hit the US coast in the past ten years!

There is a Hurricane that is about to hit the Texas Coast.

Is there any doubt, the media is going to blame Trump for this Hurricane?

He pulled out of the Paris Accord, and that he why we have Hurricanes.

They are so predictable.

Just a note to inform all readers: The New American magazine is a publication of the John Birch Society.

That is, those who were not killed or brainwashed by the great fluoridation experiment era.

Great contribution to the other posts. Man’s CO2 contribution is very small. It is fantasy theory that thinks this minute contribution is at work in climate change. The theory has just enough attraction to men’s eschatological fantasies to make men wealthy promoting it. It is like a religion designed to replace Christianity. It is the new Scientology. Those who oppose its dogma are like those who proposed a heliocentric universe and a spherical earth.

Because Obonghit executively ordered federal agencies to implement it.

“Trump the Terrible” “This decision is an immoral assault on ... everyone on this planet,” declared New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, after President Trump announced he was reversing President Obama’s illegal and unconstitutional signing of the Paris climate agreement. Economist Jeffrey Sachs, director of Columbia University’s Center for Sustainable Development and of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, said Trump’s withdrawal “is not just dangerous for the world; it is also sociopathic.” “Without remorse, Trump is willfully inflicting harm on others,” Sachs insisted, and “is knowingly and brazenly jeopardizing the planet.” Hedge-fund billionaire Tom Steyer, a left-wing pal of George Soros, called Trump’s Paris exit “traitorous” and an “act of war.” Activist Steyer tweeted: “If Trump pulls the US out of the #ParisAgreement he will be committing a traitorous act of war against the American people.” Al Gore called Trump’s move “reckless and indefensible.” Physicist Stephen Hawking offered some of the most extreme (and unscientific) fear-mongering, warning that President Trump’s action could lead to irreversible damage and turn Earth into an unlivable planet like Venus. “We are close to the tipping point where global warming becomes irreversible. Trump’s action could push the Earth over the brink, to become like Venus, with a temperature of 250 degrees, and raining sulphuric acid,” Hawking absurdly claimed in a BBC interview. On and on it goes, with ludicrous, Chicken Little, end-of-the-world predictions fused to anti-Trump execrations.

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. H. L. Mencken

If not AGW it’ll be something else.
