An illegal alien who murdered his girlfriend two weeks after being released from custody had also had his immigration status flagged by Immigration and Customs Enforcement authorities, a report from the Santa Rosa Press Democrat has revealed.
Nery Israel Estrada-Margos, 38, turned himself into local police on Friday morning after allegedly beating his girlfriend to death following a heated argument.
Officers from Santa Rosa police consequently visited the Russell Avenue apartment in which he lived, where they found the body of deceased 42-year-old Veronica Cabrera Ramirez. Ramirez’s death came despite Estrada-Margos being arrested on 2nd August on felony domestic battery charges following an incident that took place 31st July.

If the crooked politicians served jail time, this crap would stop. Anything short of jail is just talk.
Think about it, if you were a criminal where would you rather live? Mexican jails, as well as those in Central America are notorious rat holes.
They know the odds are they won’t even go to jail in the U.S. or stay there, because we mostly give them a slap on the wrist and let them go on being criminals. If they do go to jail it is much nicer here. It is a win/win situation for them, if their criminal activities involve making money then they can make far more here as well.
Those that support open borders and illegals want to brag about the illegals that come here to work hard and have a better life. They want to ignore the criminal element that comes here because life is far better here for them too.
That is why we must strictly enforce our immigration laws, that is the only way we have to sort the good people that want to immigrate here from the bad element, no matter where they come from. With an open door policy there is no way to even try to keep out the absolute criminals.

Why didn’t ICE pick him up if they were notified?
The other disgusting thing about the article is they say that the sheriff department was cooperating too much with ICE, and that now they have new procedures in place, and...

The nearest ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Field Office is in San Francisco. With no traffic, Google Maps says that this is a 1 hour, 10 minute drive to get to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.
Because the girlfriend’s family is now publicly angry, it might be harder for the Sheriff’s Office to make this story go away.
It’s my home state, so it will be about 24 hours before they find a judge liberal enough to blame Trump in some manner for this crime.
