DNC hack theories considered extreme and fringe now entering mainstream
The Washington Times ^ | August 21, 2017 | Dan Boylan

The conventional wisdom that last year’s Democratic National Committee computer hack, which triggered WikiLeaks to release thousands of emails revealing Democratic Party favoritism of Hillary Clinton over Bernard Sanders, was conducted by Russian operatives is facing increasing scrutiny.

Theories once considered fringe and extreme have begun entering the mainstream, with a prominent group of former NSA and CIA officials claiming the hack that rocked the 2016 presidential election was not actually a hack at all but rather a leak by an insider with physical access to the DNC computer network.

Speculation around the claim by the group, the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS), is also being fueled by investigators re-examining statements by key players in the drama, including former President Barack Obama and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, whose carefully chosen words on the hack have drawn fresh attention.

This is an excellent article about the continued lies by the Obama administration and the media concerning the supposed "Russian Hack" of DNC emails. It also shows that Former FBI Director Comey was complicit with the fraudulent charges. It is almost certain that Comey committed perjury when he testified about the Russian hack of the DNC.

"Crowdstrike, which the DNC paid more than $400,000 during the 2016 election cycle, could have been complicit in generating the narrative of Russian involvement in the DNC hack.

He argues that such complicity would explain why neither the FBI, CIA, NSA nor any other major U.S. intelligence or law enforcement outfit has ever fully examined the DNC hack. “[Fired FBI Director] Jim Comey could have gotten authority to access the DNC server, but he never wanted to,” Mr. McGovern said."

It doesn’t take a rocket scientists to know there was a reason the DNC wouldn’t let the FBI look at their computers while at the same time they were crying about being hacked.

As has often been discussed on FR, many believe that Seth Rich was the leaker (to WikiLeaks), and paid for it with his life, once discovered.

Does this mean that Hannity will take up the Seth Rich murder again?

“there was a reason the DNC wouldn’t let the FBI look at their computers while at the same time they were crying about being hacked.”

Of course there was. The Democrats were lying.

But Comey could have demanded that the FBI be given access. He refused to do so.

Comey was complicit in the many lies spread about the supposed Russian hack.

Not at Fuax. That channel has lost its way. For sure will watch Dobbs (does anyone know when he is coming back?) as for the rest, Tucker, maybe and Hannity if I am not checking my eyelids for pinholes.

Well not actually. To be precise it is dying a slow steady death. No one cares about it because all who have paid attention know there is no there there.

Not just lying, but I also believe there was a lot of criminality documented on those servers.

They didn’t want to hand over the evidence to put Hillary and many others in prison.

Wait until we find out who killed Seth Rich & then we will find out who is “extreme”.

Maybe that will prompt them to look into “crazy” Pizzagate.

The only ‘fringe’ or ‘extreme’ theory about the DNC emails is that they were hacked by Russia.

No it doesn’t. But it takes a very committed group of morons to close their eyes tightly, tightly, tightly shut to the obvious.

The speed in which the data was downloaded proves beyond a reasonable doubt that the data was not taken remotely, but by someone that had physical access.

https://www.thenation.com/article/a-new-report-raises-big-questions-about-last-years-dnc-hack/

This article in The Nation is somewhat long, but the salient parts are made in extra-large font and thus easily discernable. The article shows very clearly that on the evening of July 5, 2016, 1,976 megabytes of data were downloaded from the DNC’s server. The operation took 87 seconds. This yields a transfer rate of 22.7 megabytes per second.

The internet can not achieve such a speed. It cannot achieve such a speed with two devices 20 miles apart. An ordinary office PC cannot admit nor transmit data at that rate. An overseas transfer of data which would inevitably require “multi-hop” internet nodes can in no way whatsoever achieve such a speed.

What nominally achieves such a speed? A download to an SD card or thumb drive.

The data transfer is timestamped. It is known how long the transfer took to complete. There is no way this was a hack, and it’s not even an open question.

I haven’t ever completely bought into the Russians did the hacking theory, even after everybody including Trump says they did. One of the reasons is that the FBI was denied access to the DNC servers and Crowdstrike, with questionable background, reported that they did.

Theories once considered fringe and extreme...

In other words, theories developed by persons not entirely captured by the globalist corporate media.

Not lost. Left. Deliberately. A long time ago.

I last watched any Fox in 2011. Never a devoted fan.

Never conservative, but traditional and neoconservative.

If you notice, many of the people pushing the Russia hacked the election theory are intentionally vague about what exactly they mean when they say hacked. I’ve seen many talking heads refer to attempts by the Russians to hack as ‘hacking’, even if they weren’t successful. Instead of talking about Russian attempts to hack the DNC, etc. they say things like ‘We know the Russians hacked the election’. And then when they’re pressed to give details of what they mean, they reveal that they’re talking about attempts to hack, not successful hacks. I’ve heard it many times.

Or they will say, “all the evidence points to the Russians”... not saying that the evidence may have been compromised or downright created.

There are only a few elected democrats I respect. Most appear to me to be willing to do anything to retain power and push their agenda - an agenda that is often driven by resentment and hate.
