“Nope. In last week’s election, you had to chose Republican or Democrat. That went on your registration. You cannot vote in the runoff UNLESS you voted Republican on Tuesday’s past primary.”

That’s correct as to Dims, hence my “as well as making sure any Dims who voted in the Republican primary.”

Whether registered Republicans who did not vote in the Republican primary can vote in the Republican runoff—I’m not sure.

One can vote in the runoff though if he did not vote on the August 15 primary.

I remain skeptical about wishing the Ten Commandments on a society that doesn’t want them and isn’t ready for them.

D@mn straight Sharia is much simpler and easier to enforce.

Everybody with half a brain knows that Trump is only saying he supports Strange to placate that scumbag McConnell.

Maybe he should concentrate on saying things that placate the base.

>>I believe Luther would be leading but he hitch his ride with Mitch McConnell. We’re tired of the GOPe. We see what they did to Chris McDaniel in Mississippi. The GOPe and ultra-liberal chamber of commerce won’t be deciding our representatives in DC.

When those GOPe turds sandbagged McDaniel they lost my support permanently.

>>More and more Moore. God grant him wisdom. He underwent great frustration as a judge since the secular law to which he was sworn diverged more and more from his ideal. I hope he goes after substance before symbol as a senator. I remain skeptical about wishing the Ten Commandments on a society that doesn’t want them and isn’t ready for them. The Noahide commandments are enough challenge at this point.

Yeah, well the only way Judge Moore can lose my support is if he FAILS to conform his views and his role as a legislator to his religious convictions.

Trump is doing things I couldn’t have imagined one year ago. I am proud of him for digging in on several issues even though sometimes his delivery or presentation may not have been that of a polished politician. We are in a fight for the survival of the Republic. Trump is wise and savvy enough to know that it is better to gain 10 yards and a first down rather than try for a 80 yard touchdown pass. His articulation may not be very good but his keen intuition is beyond impressive.

Who would not vote for a candidate who rides his horse to vote?

Some wierd emaciated latte-sipping PETA type - but hopefully there aren't too many of those in Alabama.

Nonsense. Dewhurst was the GOPe candidate, who VASTLY outraised Ted Cruz in campaign funds but still got beaten by Ted Cruz because Cruz was the only true conservative in the elections.

Pretty much. Trump had to back Strange cause Strange was loyal to Trump in the US Senate. But Moore is the best candidate and he is going to win.

Ok, well, that’s Yertle.

I repeat that I think Trump could do nothing less than support a sitting senator who voted FOR repeal of health care.

You just can’t say, “Well, I looked into his soul” as Woody Allen used to say about cheating on a metaphysics exam (”I looked into the soul of the student sitting next to me”).

They know that Roy Moore will fight for the monuments as he’s already done. What’s happening now is boosting Roy Moore. The Dems won’t know what hit them in 2018.

Be careful: “his religious convictions” and what the bible actually calls for in situations like ours are often QUITE different.
