>>1. The National Socialist Workers Party led by Hitler, hated Christianity and believed that it was the true source of all mankinds ill’s and problems.

It’s more complicated than that. Their belt buckles said “God is with us”. The thing about Christianity that they hated was the idea that Christians are citizens of heaven first, and Germans second. When they got into power, they didn’t remove the church. They just twisted it to serve the state. This is what got Bonhoeffer into trouble. He refused to accept the German Church and created the Confessing Church (along with other clergy).

Now the parallel with them and the Dems is that the Nazis sought to harness the church and make it a tool of the state. Progressive Christianity does the same. I’m sure that pulpits across America in UMC, PCUSA, TEC, UCC, and ABC churches are preaching the evils of Donald Trump and his band of Neo-Nazis and how they want to harm the “marginalized and under-represented people” of the world.

True, but also most of the Nazi hierarchy was so deep into the occult that Christianity was a barrier between their evil and the good of most Germans.

“...Their belt buckles said “God is with us”...”

The TRADITIONAL German regular army belt buckles had the “God is with us” inscription. The SS units had different belt buckles with no such inscription.

Liberals always try to claim Bonhoeffer but he was a Biblical strict constructionist and he hated liberal theology as he observed it in Manhattan’s Union Theological Seminary.

Well, not Nazi belt buckles, but German Army belt buckles. “Gott Mit Uns” is a pre-Nazi tradition that goes back to Prussia. Since most Germans were Christian, I imagine the Nazis didn’t want to rock the boat with the military by eliminating it.
