You can see where this is headed. Freedom of speech, assembly, religion, etc, etc. were concepts supported by the racists who created the Constitution. Throw them out.

Legacy is correct. Move them to a museum, use them as part of memorials and education. Teach people the good and the bad of the south, teach them our history, what makes us who we are today. Remove them from the public square, remove them from the hands of people that mix it up with hate, bigotry, white supremacism, neo-Nazis, and all. Until it is removed, Trump, Republicans, and conservatives will be tarred with the inseparable hate and violence of these groups. Sad thing is, these were all Dems years ago, this is the product of Democrats and never really part of the Republican party. Time to clean house.
