Would it ever be possible for anyone on the Left to recognize that the Confederate flag represented the Confederate States of America, and a statue to a man represents the man, his life and his actions?
BTW: The term “Confederate Flag” is usually used to describe a particular battle flag.
These idiots who think the Confederate flag should come down do not even know that it was never flown over any Confederate government building. It was a flag to distinguish the Confederate army from the Union army.
If they are so upset about slavery then are they going to go after the American flag since it flew over slave ships, flew as America went westward while Native Americans were raped, forced from homes, and killed?
Then go after Washington, Jefferson, Mt Vernon . Then shall we have book burnings and write conservative on conservative businesses, because right now that is the way the left are going.
