Caleb Slater, a conservative student and the president of the Ithaca College Republicans, recently attended YAFs 39th Annual National Conservative Student Conference, where he received a baseball cap with the Young Americas Foundation logo and our slogan, The Conservative Movement Starts Here, printed on the back. Caleb chose to wear his YAF hat when he attended a vigil in Syracuse, New York, for the victims of last weekends violent clash in Charlottesville.
I wore my Young Americas Foundation hat to the rally as a symbol of peace, Caleb explained. I wore the hat to show that conservatives condemn the actions of the alt-right just as much as anyone else in our culture. It was this hat that earned Caleb the attention of antifa supporters at the same rally, and led to a violent attack caught on camera.
This incident highlights the true intolerance of the Left today: when a conservative goes out of their way to find common ground with their ideological rivals, leftists lash out merely due to a conservative logo and slogan on a ball cap.

Intolerance is good when they practice it, because they self-identify as tolerant.
Paging Messrs Bush, McCain, Romney, Ryan and Rubio.
Or not.
I’ll be boots on the ground in Charlottesville (Berkeley
East) on Saturday morning.
I’ll be picking up my daughter to go down south and chase the eclipse.
I will be wearing my MAGA hat.
Unfortunately, we’ll only be there a few minutes.
She lives 3 blocks from the car crash area.
We either fight back on the ground or we surrender the streets to the communists.
ASHEVILLE, NC: "Waaaaaahhhhhh...I thought WE were Berkeley East...waaahhh!"
He obviously neglected to inform them that Democrats are the real racists.
"...blah, blah, blah, alt-right..."
How close was the car crash to the monument rally?
Okay kid, it is like this. They do not like you. In their opinion you are whatever “alt-right” is. The people you wanted to mingle with hate you and they will continue to be violent.
You should listen to our President because he has the blame for Saturday distributed properly.
You kids, just like about all the goofy people on our side, want so much to not be deemed a racist by the people who are the real racists.
Be very careful because nothing you do will appease these people until they either kill or enslave you.
You kid, know in your heart that the leftist thugs who showed up all ready to create violence, did exactly that. That is what the truth is.
GHWB said in an article that I read way back in the seventies that the ruling class use race and push racial divide to keep Americans at each other throats so that they will ignore what the ruling class is doing to screw them over. They ruling class knew that if we all ever got together and rose up against them that their heads would be on pikes.
That is why they were so scared and despised the Tea Party. Both sides wanted to crush it. The populism without a leader they could demonize was too scary for words for them.
Can you carry?
Well what did you THINK was going to happen?
Man, people are stupid!
Alt right + Control left = Ctrl-Alt-Delete
The Alt-Right is an on-line movement of young men. It has nothing to do with racism. Never did.
The left is afraid of guys like Paul Joseph Watson and Milo and that’s why they called the Alt-Right racist, just like they did the Tea Party. Did you demand the Tea Party stop calling themselves the Tea Party?
Why not? That is what you are doing in this case.
I was getting ready to post that I objected to him using that term also but you did a much better job of it! It’s already bad enough that we have FOX also referring to “extremists on the right” in their reporting...It’s sickening and I’m thoroughly sick of it.
