Why continue to support that?
It's not that. It has nothing to do with Christians or conservatives.
People are not going to the movies because they no longer found this a valuable use of their time and money and the reason for tis is simple; movies these days are not very good.
People are staying home instead and watching streaming television on massive home theaters. Television series production is the best it has ever been. More people will be talking about their season of Game of Thrones than anything at the cinemas.
Game of Thrones is definitely the exception rather than the norm.
TV series production is going to hit the wall so hard it will be shocking.

I have old friends who work in production. They are saying that many of these production houses are losing money. On does special effects, and he is thinking about returning back home because he can’t afford to do it anymore.
I would add one more facet to this gem: The off-screen diatribes against half of the potential audience lessen the interest in going to the theater. When stars and directors take pains to insult and demean half of their potential audience, they should not be surprised that the audience's tolerance for marginal product wanes significantly.
Affordable 50-70” televisions, surround sound and comfortable seating with the audience of your choice and the ability to watch any movie at home is the game changer.
