Is it education or native intelligence?
I have a theory that northern climates produce more intelligent people because you can’t be stupid when it’s freezing out and you have winter to live through. I know, simplistic. But I suspect this has a lot to do with the origins of one’s ancestors...even if the kids have migrated to California.
However, it’s not always true..and there are so many examples of this - including the Jews and even my boss who is from Africa.
