President Donald Trump denounced hate groups at the White House on Monday, responding to critics of his response to the violence in Charlottesville, Virgina surrounding an alt-right rally.
“Racism is evil. And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, Neo-Nazis, White Supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans,” Trump said.
The president made his remarks in the Diplomatic Reception Room at the White House after meeting with Attorney General Jeff Sessions and the FBI Director Chris Wray.
Trump specifically named Heather Heyer, the 32-year-old woman killed during the protests after a reported Nazi sympathizer drove his car into a crowd of counter protesters.
“We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence,” he said.

They would have preferred that The President take full responsibility, grab a Gun from one of his SS Agents and shoot himself on Live TV.
He said exactly what I knew he would say, leaving out the violence perpetrated by ANTIFA and not supporting the Free Speech RIGHTS of those people we may disagree with.
The Republic is doomed. The Leftists will not allow President Trump to be Reelected in 2020, so all we got was a four Year reprieve from the deconstruction of America.
He does not have to name them.

Where’s the condemnation of Black Lies Matter, AntiFa and others who have rioted, and assaulted people across the country for the better part of two years.
Ever notice how the left NEVER apologizes, never disavows, and never backs away from ANYONE on their side, no matter how extreme or ridiculous they are. Our side always condemns the leftist “virtue signaling” but, that is all I’ve seen since this event, our side groveling, apologizing, disavowing and virtue signaling. No wonder we have lost the culture, and the country.
I think it has more to do with the present investigation.
This was all staged...Russiagate fails...so now we have Racegate.
I’d have liked to hear antifa, communists and BLM condemned as hate groups but you know what? If he had, the MSM would have focused on his words for the next two days instead of the violence perpetrated on peaceful protestors.
Now that the MSM seems at least superficially appeased, we can get back to focusing on the unprovoked attacks on people trying to exercise their Inalienable Right to peaceful assembly as protected by the First, and what is really going on behind the scenes in that town.

I like how, lost in all of this, is that this was a protest to stop the destruction of American History to favor a NON-AMERICAN political viewpoint.
I also how it’s settled science that the car ramming was domestic terrorism - thanks Sessions. Because it looks like self-defense to me.
I don’t necessarily blame Trump for capitulating. The GOP is a group of Milque toast fops who would happily sell him out to out another Democrat in office so they wouldn’t be labeled racist.
