CBS ^ | Aug 12 2017 | CBS

A top Republican senator called out President Trump on Twitter Saturday, after Mr. Trump declined to condemn white nationalists when violence at a "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia left one person dead and 34 others injured.

Sen. Cory Gardner (R-Colorado), leader of the National Republican Senatorial Committee in 2018, called on Mr. Trump to "call evil by its name." Mr. Trump, in brief remarks Saturday from his working vacation at his golf club in New Jersey, said he condemned violence "on many sides." Given a chance to clarify what Mr. Trump meant by "all sides," a White House official told the press pool the president was "condemning hatred, bigotry and violence from all sources and all sides. There was violence between protesters and counter protesters today."

Howabout we start by officially labeling the BLM and Antifa terrorist groups and go from there.

Terrorism implies forethought and pre-planning on the part of the terrorist to terrorize someone.

Not seeing that in this instance. Might just be a crazy kid or a drunk for all we know right now. Might even be a leftist on drugs. Who knows?

The guy is a legitimate republican and most likely for the situation was an uninvolved citizen who found himeself in the middle of a mess. If the :demonstrators” started paying malevolent notice to his car and ha panicked, well I have done the same but those in front of me were more agile.

When all the enemies are saying the same lines, it’s a set up. Today is Trump’s fault is the mantra. This is the defining moment they bring him down. You can see them all line up against him. It’s obvious the GOP, DNC is bought and paid for everytime they think they have him. That’s why no healthcare, no tax reform no changes other than the ones he controls. My hope is in divine intervention, because the deep state and the drug cartels surely own a lot of our gov’t.

“The GOP establishment despises you, and takes your votes for granted.”

This is one vote that Gardner will not get again.

I don’t know why they think Trump would ignore the Soviet flags of the aggressors yesterday; to literate people they are at least as disturbing as Nazi flags.

Nothing like not waiting for all the facts to come in. Unbelievably, THERESA MAY has just condemned violence in Charlottesville (after being shown it on a map, undoubtedly). You’d think she’d be more concerned with grooming gangs, London throat-slittings and how to be nice to allies while still hanging on to her job.

The worst prime minister in my life time and that may include Blair!

did he demand that Trump call the shooting of the congressmen terrorism? did he demand that Trump call the Berkley riots by antifa terrorism? did he demand that Trump call the Black Lies Matter riots terrorism? If he did, I didn’t hear him.

Virginia has a long history of allowing domestic terrorism

The United Mine Workers went on strike under the leadership of Richard Trumka. The union members committed innumerable acts of terrorism against the companies and the bosses and the public. The governor allowed it and the state police stood aside.

Wonder if he stood against the expanding marijuana industry in “Rocky Mountain High” Colorado?

What does that have to do with the matter at hand? Respecting adults' right to use marijuana is like running people over with a car?

“Domestic Terrorism”? Really? Let’s cool down for a few minutes, take a deep breath and let the dust settle and get the ENTIRE truth, THEN call the incident by it’s correct name.

Hey Cory, it should be considered workplace violence since the counter protestors were being paid by George Soros to be there and create chaos.
