Well said. They aren’t used to someone making the actually “work”. They are used to the country club, grab ass attitude. Trump is coming in and exposing them for the frauds they are.

It's about time. The DC sewer (aka US Senate) thinks it's okay to just do nothing and exist as slaves to their deep-pocket donors-manipulators. McConnell could've stripped McCain, Collins, and Murkowski of their committee assignments. The RNC could've refused funding and voter information to them. Remember when Republican US Senators were bragging that they could write a bill, when the HOR was having trouble passing anything?

For McConnell to say these things take time when they supposedly had a plan for the past seven years of Obamacare is reprehensible.

Before the inauguration, I mentioned to my family and friends that since Trump is goal oriented, he would be nose-to-nose with McConnel and Lyin' Ryan. It appears he's doing it publicly, shaming the lazy bastards, which is most likely more effective. 💪

Go Donald!

We have only the expectations that you will do what you campaigned on. As such we gave you the House, Senate, AND the Whitehouse. Now, GET IT DONE! Lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way.....

Yup. Both McConnell and McCain are 10 years past their expiration date.

McConnell and many others are used to doing next to nothing. He and his followers are not used to being told to get to work and produce something!

It is fascinating to watch the interaction between these career politicians and Trump. Slow witted, entrenched, risk averse meets kick your ass.

Well-said!

McConnell was stunned to learn that people expect him to keep some promises.

McConnell deserves much more.

He lies when he claims the Senate bill repeals ACA.

He failed to repeal ACA.

He tells us to move on, he goes on vacation, and then says “Trump is out of his depth” and has “excessive expectations”.

McConnell needs to move on. He’s an incompetent leader, a liar, and blames others for his failures. He’s a shyster. And he’s in the way.

McConnell’s actions make it seemingly as though he intends to sandbag the Trump administration in attempt to cause a reversal of power in the House, and Senate in 2018 that would lead to extreme difficulties, and possible Impeachment of President Trump.

I wouldn’t put it past the establishment bastard to think along those lines, and take such actions.

McTurtle thought it would be business as usual and Trump would not hold him accountable for anything. Sorry Mitch, but this isn’t another “Swamp Dweller” you’re dealing with here. This president expects you to do your FREAKING job and pass legislation to help the American people. You remember them Mitch, right? A good many of them in Kentucky voted you into office. They’re the ones who don’t have lots of cash to stuff into your bank accounts.

McConnell said he would have an Obamacare repeal bill on Trump’s desk on his first day in office.

McConnell, as pointed out many times in this forum is spineless.
In the military one of the criteria for leadership is called command presence, i.e., looking the part. Mitch McConnell looks like a bowl of jello, he gets little respect because his weak physical appearance offsets any legislative abilities he may have ... he's a loser.

SEVEN YEARS, Mitch, you and your pals have had 7+ YEARS to prepare and pass legislation to “repeal and replace” Obozocare.

Don’t tell us you didn’t have enough time and don’t tell us that with both houses of Congress the Republicans are incapable of getting anything done.

The lazy, low energy, slimy swamp turd-le McConnell needs to get back to work (or discover what real “work” is).

He’s also a LIAR (to quote Ted Cruz) as he was the one that put the repeal as the first priority.

They lie to our faces and expect us to ignore it.

I don't think McConnell cares whether we ignore it or not.

McConnell has been using his NRSC to control the primary process to make sure that opposition to his base is futile. He even increased its funding by sneaking legislation into a recent bill to give him more power to control the primaries.

——They think are royalty.-—

Not Royalty but perhaps Nobility.

I think the real problem is they exist in a very deep rut and cannot visualize any change. They are firmly stuck in the past. They are old. Many old people can not tolerate any change at all.

“We have only the expectations that you will do what you campaigned on.”

That’s it right there. Eight years of promises, and... not one thing accomplished. Expecting people to do what they promise over and over again is not “excessive”; it’s “realistic”. The fact that they lied to us for years, and that we know they did, does not faze them in the least. They just sashay out the door for vacation as nonchalant as can be. We peons are supposed to say, “No problem; that’s OK. Lie to us. We like it.”

A beautiful Repeal Bill should’ve been on DJT’s desk 1/21/17 for his signature. There’s no excuse for them not to have worked out everything over seven years’ time. I guess balls, dinners, country clubs, etc., have eaten up too much of their time.
