The survey of likely 2017 special election primary voters released on Friday shows Moore with 35.07 percent, followed by Strange at 23.07 and Brooks in third with 19.68 percent.
The Trafalgar Groups (TFG) senior strategist Robert Cahaly told Breitbart News the poll results reflect Moores popularity in the state and the impact of President Donald Trumps recent endorsement of Strange.

Strange is Yertle’s boy. Roy Moore has the street cred.
After Trump thanked Putin yesterday for reducing our government employee count in the US embassy in Russia, our ol’ nutty anti-Putin FReepers will simply have their poor little heads explode.
Excellent! Go, Judge Moore!!!
I dont pretend to know what Trump’s motivation was in endorsing Strange.
But it seems to have angered Alabama primary voters and
they are circling the wagon around Moore because of it.
Trump can say what he wants but the people know who’s best in this election.
I love Trump but he’s been on the wrong side of a few things, including the support of Strange.
Thread from a couple days ago about this poll if
anyone cares to scan thru it

No he’s just being smart in case if that backstabber gets reelected!! Art of the deal!! Let pray for Moore’s victory though..I know that if Moore wins Trump will be elated!!
Trump endorsed McCain and Ryan last year.
People understand he just does those to try to be a team player.
He shouldn’t because they are not.
Interesting that all conservative media are backing Brooks. You never
hear much about Moore. Yet Moore has been strong in this race and
apparently still gaining ground, especially after Trump’s endorsement
of the Strange one.
Moore stood up for American values and originalism on Alabama’s Supreme Court. He gave it his all. He will do the same thing in the Senate.
We should send this Dude some dough!
I’ll take Brooks or Moore any day over Strange.
Brooks is the all around rock ribbed small government conservative. Moore is the religious social conservative. They’re both impressive, sharp guys.
I’ve been thinking about this race and the other week I posted my view that Moore was the best candidate, even I don’t share his religious zealotry.
In the end, our besieged President Donald Trump does not need a Mitch McConnell guy like Strange or a fako “Freedom Caucus” Ted Cruz-Glenn Beck type like Brooks.
Trump needs another guy who’s made waves with the Establishment and Moore did that with his Ten Commandments monument and ruling against same sex marriage which both led to his removals as Chief Justice in Alabama.
I read on Wikipedia that after Roy Moore graduated from West Point and was in Vietnam, he was called “Captain America” by guys in his unit because Moore was so dedicated.
Well, I hope Alabama sends Captain America to Washington to help President Trump.
Mo Brooks was a sanctimonious never-Trumper whose verbal attacks during the campaign have come back to haunt him. Even when it had become clear that Trump was going to win, Mo Brooks continued to snipe at him. Well, bye.
I like your angle. Trump needs a fellow troublemaker, and that’s Moore.
But Mo really is a real deal conservative. It’s a tough call...for me at least.
BTW, it took me three tries to load my comment. Not sure where my money is going every quarter.
Go Roy!!!!
Judge Moore fights for what he believes in, something Trump supporters tend to appreciate.
That’s an older poll that showed Moore at 30 percent.
This poll puts him up to 35 percent, Roy Moore’s gaining ground even though President Trump endorsed the appointed Mitch McConnell crony Senator Luther Strange.
There’s a second round involving the top two finishers on September 26th if no one gets over 50 percent.
