What the hell is going on with these Judges?
When the SHTF I suspect a lot of them are going to have to resign (or be resigned, if you catch my drift)

This judge and the prosecution need to be taught a lesson about what “of, by, and for the people” looks like.

This whole trial is a sham, waste of time and money. Any decision against the defendants will obviously be overturned by a higher court. This is a clear case of “judicial overreach”. This judge is nuts and doesn’t belong on the bench.

U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro barred the defense from referencing constitutional rights to freely assemble and to bear arms.
Why? Do those constitutionally protected rights present a problem for prosecutors?

This is all that is required for an appeal:
” U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro barred the defense from referencing constitutional rights to freely assemble and to bear arms. She also prohibited mention of alleged misconduct or excessive force by law enforcement.”
This instruction denies a rational defense.
i.e. - explaining his rights that require no defense
- explaining the threats he was responding to
Complying would only allow 5th Amendment violations, by inviting self-incrimination.

U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro barred the defense from referencing constitutional rights to freely assemble and to bear arms. If it goes South then these ridiculous ground rules by themselves are grounds for appeal

I love Judge Navaro, because she is making this case so reversible.
Because we do not have transcripts, we don’t know how the Def tried to introduce the mentioned testimony, and it does not deal specifically with what happened that day, but it’s so easy to get stuff like this in as “state of mind,” and “Do you remember what you were thinking when X happened...”
Let the trial continue, because their might be an acquittal.
If not, Forrest Gump would prevail on appeal.
