A good sentiment, but I doubt that it would have much effect. Their bottom line might be a little less, but they will still have plenty of customers. There is some saying along the lines of : No one ever went broke by pandering to the lowest common denominator.

It will do more damage just from the knowledge of it getting out. The secret to politics is meme penetration of the masses.
