Yes, Reporters Did Try To Ignore The Lynch-Clinton Scandal Multiple Justice Dept. Emails Show It

Media Bias: Journalists rushed to the defense of two reporters after President Trump accused them of being "reluctant to cover" the scandalous tarmac meeting between then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton. But a review of the entire cache of email exchanges inside the Justice Department at the time shows that Trump has it right.

Trump was referring to email exchanges between Justice public affairs officials and reporters from The New York Times and the Washington Post. The emails were among the 400-plus pages of internal emails that flew around at Justice soon after a local Phoenix reporter happened to get wind of the off-the-books Lynch-Clinton meeting on June 27, 2016 — just days before the FBI decided to drop its investigation of Hillary Clinton.

In one email, Washington Post reporter Matt Zapotosky writes that "my editors are still pretty interested in it, and I'm hoping I can put it to rest." In another, New York Times reporter Mark Landler appears to complain that he's been "pressed into service" to cover the story.

Reporters have been quick to say that those emails don't mean anything, because both newspapers carried stories about the meeting on their front pages.

Scott Wilson, the Post's national editor, dismissed Trump's complaint out of hand by saying that "Contrary to President Trump's characterization, the email in question shows our reporter committed to the Lynch-Comey story and working to report it as comprehensively as possible. … Our coverage was vigorous and aggressive from the moment we learned Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch met more than a year ago in the Phoenix airport. Saying otherwise is factually wrong."

Multiple examples of media bias on display within a single incident.

One group refuses to report a legitimate story because it reveals democrat party corruption at the highest level.

The next group covers for the group refusing to report.

It goes on and on like this, all day every day, and is basically no longer tolerable.

No no no no.... They did not “try to ignore”... they ACTIVELY HELPED to cover it up.

And the emails prove it.

If it weren’t for that Phoenix TV station we would never have known.

Fake news also includes the suppression of stories the leftist media doesn’t want aired.

Yes, Reporters Did Try To Ignore The Lynch-Clinton Scandal — Multiple Justice Dept. Emails Show It

The strongest power of the New York and Los Angles media systems is the ability to censor news which doesn't fit their political goals.

If we owned a single network, we could have reported this scandal 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for months on end, and the public would be clamoring for investigations and prosecutions.

But because the media are completely staffed by Liberals, and they don't want the public made aware of this information, they censor it to protect their political allies.

They censored the horrible background of Bill Clinton. They censored the horrible background of Barack Obama. They have steered the course of this nation with their deliberate censorship of facts which the public should have been made aware.

Censorship of damaging information is the main source of their power.
