We have 1,500 ready to shoot right now and within 35mins of anywhere in China.
The Chinese WILL NOT directly confront the US under any scenario where our essential, strategic interests are at stake.
A single Trident boat could take out their entire land-based deterrent in a preemptive strike.
Not that simple. Koreans are very nationalistic, and South Korea is very adamant about reuniting. It's a pride thing.
Extortion has been the Kim game but junior is not as good at it as his dad was.
We have to go at it fast and hard. I’d say tactical nukes on everything he has. We have to admit and plan for the reality China will/may come over the mountains again. But yes, now is the best time we will probably ever see again.

Umm South Koreans do NOT want anything to do with North Korea.
They do consider themselves smarter than everybody else but a simple walk in the woods fixes that.
North Korea is a messed up world. If they continue to threaten the world with nukes, how would you address the problem to the USA?

That’s kind of a specific target for a first try.
I would suggest they not be so aggressive first time out. Perhaps just drop it in the middle of the ocean. That would be easier to hit.
