I know and I think that easy money policies (Central Banking) are part of the reason behind this. IMVHO.

The Now Hiring signs I’ve seen go up so far have been entry level min wage jobs. Pizza delivery, wait staff, grocery store, Dollar stores type jobs. Higher end jobs are not done in this fashion, they want resume’s, references, college or tech diplomas and have been screened by a job service.

But here in Idaho, home of the "Personal (really business) Property Tax", things still slog along like it's 2009. Why would any business owner/s in his/her/their right mind/s move a company to Idaho, or start up operations in Idaho, when they'll have to pay tax on every computer, desk, chair, lamp, machine, et al, that they own?
Idaho: land of $10/hr retail and call center jobs. Oh yeah, part-time retail and call center jobs.

The gap between job openings and hiring points to a skills wage
mismatch.Fixed it. Employers got addicted to Great Recession wages; time to stop living in the past.
