My favorite job postings are the ones that want an arm’s length of education and experience for the princely sum of 12 - 14 an hour.

Usually it’s an Indian recruiter.

The economy is psychological..if you think things are good or going to get better you might spend more..

People and business think the same..

Trump has to be the cheerleader because the GOP will probably get nothing done this year..

Someone Just Noticed That Trump Is Getting Stuff Done 8/04/17

Achievements: After weeks and months of fixating on tweets and Russia, someone in the press decided to have a look at what the Trump administration has been up to since January. Lo and behold, they discovered that it’s getting a lot done.

“Trump Has Quietly Accomplished More Than It Appears” reads the headline in the Atlantic.

“With the Trump administration’s chaos sucking up all the attention,” the article begins, “it’s been able to move forward on a range of its priorities.... It is remaking the justice system, rewriting environmental rules, overhauling public-lands administration, and greenlighting major infrastructure projects. It is appointing figures who will guarantee the triumph of its ideological vision for decades to come.”

It goes on to detail these achievements, many of which we’ve highlighted on these pages.

A few observations.

First, the news report from Reuters is very clinical in nature, being very careful not to assign reason or advantage to Trump.

Second, most of these jobs right now are likely entry level jobs; however, it appears that the table is being set for more higher wage jobs down the road with the recent announcements of several new major facilities being planned, such as Foxconn and auto plants.

Third, I think this is going to speed the development and implementation of technology as there will be a growing dearth of retail, fast food, and truck driving type workers available.

Fourth, I’d rather have these policy issues than that of Obama with increasing Food Stamps and those applying for disability.

Fifth, the Republican RINOs need to get on board now and produce tax cuts and healthcare reform among other pressing matters.

Let the Trump economic renaissance begin.

They are up 1.9% over the last year. I posted the data in post #10. That doesn’t even keep up with inflation.

If you want to be an electrician, and you don’t mind joining the electrician’s union (IBEW), and you don’t mind working in the hotbed of liberalism, then Portland, OR is the place for you. Jobs are going begging.

It is going to take some time to repair that I think. The world economy is very weak still, and Americans are also competing against illegals, despite shouts that claim that is false.

Wages don’t even increase at the rate of inflation.

Supply and demand.

There is still a large supply of labor out there and until that is cleared, the prices/wages will stay down.

When the demand for labor outstrips the supply, then wages will go up because of competition for that labor.

The Repulsive Party wants the flood of immigrants to continue. We need a Patriot Party.

...in addition to Foxconn opening a plant in Wisconsin, the company announced another plant opening in Michigan, too!

Good Trump news just keeps rolling on...

Get used to the reality that immigration, both legal and illegal, things will get tighter. Time to put Americans back to work. MAGA.
