Dear Mr. Babbin & the rest of you that advocate the firing of McMaster, take a look at the timeline of @ThomasWictor. You may see things a bit differently once you've absorbed what he has to say. Or not. Babbin, you use anonymous sources and pepper your column with casual disdain for two supremely patriotic military men; Mattis & McMaster. You should be ashamed of yourself. You are in no position to know anything of the inner workings of the Trump administration. You discuss Islam as though it is frozen in time at the date 09/11/2001, without understanding the radical changes that are occurring in the ME & the ummah, under the leadership of the Saudis. President Trump is privy to all the intelligence America's IC has to offer. Your sources? No one reading this column has any idea what they are privy to, nor the agenda they may be advancing. We can only trust them and by extension you. I prefer to trust President Trump. You on the other hand I don't trust.

We can’t get back to the guy who commented, but we have seen independent evidence that McMaster is hostile to Israel, has ordered staff to not say “Muslim extremist terrorism” or any such terminology, he is firing loyal Trumpsters left and right, he is retaining liberals and globalists, he is fighting Trump on many elements of his campaign promises, he is protecting Iran, etc.
KavMan, Of course we are not privy to all the intelligence the President gets and the media cannot be relied upon to get even the basic facts straight. However, it appears that Trump in continuing a policy that goes back to Jimmy Carter who we can thank for the disaster in Iran. Libya was such a great success. Apparently Syria will be a follow up. The results will be chaos.
