I'm sure I know spouses who have done this innocently with some friends from work. In fact, come to think of it, I have check out apartments with friends from work who were the spouses of others and it was completely innocent.
And this apartment was in Kimberly's building and most likely a real estate agent was present.
As a former NYer, I have seen this occur plenty of times and never thought a thing about it.

Amen. It would not sit well with me if I was not aware of my husband apartment shopping with a woman. It doesn’t look right.
